Smart. FFMPEG is a solid software and I recommend anybody to have it for transcoding media. Glad to know it can be used in this circumstance as well.

You can try lowering the Final Limiter Drive under Final inside Audio Processor to reduce loudness and give it more headroom. You can also use the Enhance adjustments under Audio Processor. If this isn’t enough, you can save and edit the OUTMIX lines near the bottom of the AMX preset files (open them in a text editor). I wanna say dropping them from 50 to 25 or so should give you something like 6+ db headroom or more if you lower the final limiter drive as well.

edit: Also, to clarify, are you saying you tried the Processor > Misc > I/O > Output?

edit2: There’s also Stream Ateunation -12db on my passthrough core (in trial mode, which I use for local streaming to my phone)

I have some Omnia7 AM presets (many speech focused) in my Google drive. There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to get the presets from Telos anymore. They used to be extractable from the Omnia updates, which are now behind a serial number wall. So here are the old ones from 2019.

TELOS: If I need to destroy the sharing link from within my Google Drive, I’ll gladly do it. Please don’t flag them to be removed by Google. It’s totally unnecessary.

I use the internal server to broadcast a local stream on my home network, so I can get processed music on my phone wherever I am around the house.

Hello! So I’m guessing the Breakaway audio pipeline isn’t getting uninstalled entirely when uninstalling BAE. Could you try the Breakaway Pipeline 4.31 installer here https://ceaforum.net/?topic=breakaway-audio-enhancer-update-v1-41-0

It detects whether or not Breakaway Pipeline is installed on your computer, and if so it places a pipeline removal tool on your desktop. I think this Pipeline Removal Tool will come in handy for your situation.

Hello! You might find the OUTMIX entries near the bottom of the AMX preset files (open in a text editor) handy for adjusting loudness or final coloring. My use is to turn it down to about half values so I can get more headroom in the final limiter (more than the regular -6db).

To access the AMX files for the built-in presets, save the preset to your hard drive first.

Dude… do NOT link pirated or illegal versions of the software. There are jerks all over the world trying to cash in on Leif’s hard work.

You can ask to access the beta by emailing Milky, as suggested in this thread: https://ceaforum.net/?topic=breakaway-audio-enhancer-update-v1-41-0

This only fixes the Breakaway Pipeline incompatibility for Windows 10 version 20H2. If you are not on 20H2, then you will not need to test the beta.

Out of curiosity, for those of you who are experiencing this port 80 issue, what does your BreakawayOne say its version is?

You can check by choosing Common> System> System Information> Software Version:

As Milky alluded in another thread, perhaps you need some pre-processing for the mic. You can try a VST plugin as an AGC. Stereo Tool works wonderfully with BreakawayOne and doesn’t cost very much for a basic license. Or you could run it as a stand-alone mic processor for nothing. Sadly, I don’t know of any other good AGC plugins off the top of my head.

This expert mode is an unauthorized hack of the application. Any video you see with it enabled is using illegal software.

Had some trouble with an existing copy of VAC 4.64 being detected during the BAE installer as an older version of Pipeline, and the Pipeline uninstaller placed on my desktop. I ended up uninstalling VAC through Add or Remove Programs, as one should. Ran the installer again and it still thought I had legacy Pipeline installed. My solution was to install 4.15c then uninstall it, then try to install BAE for a third time. After that, BAE seemed to work excellently.

So next I uninstall BAE and use the Pipeline uninstaller to clear out the Pipelines. Then I run the 4.30 Pipeline installer, which works without a hitch, requiring me to then do some slight setup in BA1. But BA1 seems to be working as excellently as ever. Seemingly no difference between BA Pipeline and VAC, meaning I’ll be able to eventually point friends to it as a free alternative again.

I’ll go back to BAE for a little bit to see if I encounter anything amiss.

Since this is the closest thing to a Leif Claesson fan forum that I know of, is there anything that can be shared regarding what he’s working on? I hope it’s a processor for non-i86/amd64 architectures like ARM. That video from 2007 of JesseG running Breakaway on a SHARC DSP gave me some hope for in-car audio, and that was a while back. Thanks!

I was trying to help you to configure a different processor on their forum. I had mentioned possibly needing Breakaway Pipeline at one point to correctly route audio through your DJ software. I also sent a preset, but it wasn’t what you were looking for.
