Mac enthousiast need to know that Windows has about 90% of the market.
http://thenextweb.com/microsoft/2012/09 … ows-vista/It is not profitable to put in many development hours to make a Mac version for only 10% of the market. It’s that simple!
I know that OSX is a better os than windows, but Mac’s are just overpriced. Thats why the most people don’t buy them.
That my 2 cents of it.
Happy new year for all windows and osx users.

The edcast client isn’t updated lately, due to some personal issues of the programmer.
Dj BuikMemberAnyone has experience with these babies?

Sounds like a memory leak in Edcast (In case you haven’t experienced this problem before you used Edcast).
Why don’t you use the plugin dll version of Edcast, inside Breakaway?
In that case you do not use the Edcast limiter, but you can use the Attenuator plugin for Breakaway.
Dj BuikMemberYou are right, my bad, BBP ASIO does not use Virtual cables.
It sounds like that something is running out of sync.
Are you using the MPX out (192 KHz) from BBP, or are you using only the ‘normal’ audio output?
Post your BBP setup screen, so we can see your settings.
Dj BuikMemberWhy dont you go from your automation software direct into Breakaway thru the virtual sound cable?

Is your Shoutcast streaming server also running there? It’s not exactely clear how you want to setup all things
Please give more information.Breakaway does not need a soundcard if you only use it for streaming.

Dj BuikMemberin traktor you need to select the breakaway asio soundcard.
In Breakaway you select your audio 2 soundcard as output device.June 5, 2012 at 5:53 am in reply to: Virtual DJ + Denon DJ Controller (MC-6000) + Breakaway DJ #13286Dj BuikMemberLook at this thread:

I made a manual with the Denon HC4500 and OtsAV DJ combination.
The principe is the same, maybe this can help you.
I know the Denon MC-6000 has a fixed sampling rate of 48KHz instead of the ‘normal’ 44Khz.
You need to check your audio chain for that.

The latest version supports also Html5, but not icecastDj BuikMemberOk now i understand.
Your have a 4 deck controller (= 8 channel = 4 x stereo).I do not know if you can install a second instance of Breakaway DJ, never tried that.
You can run multiple instances of Breakaway Live, but i do not know if that is what you want.
(Then you need to buy 4 licenses too) -
