Make sure your audio drivers are working properly – can you play music through your soundcard?
You might want to try turning off Windows UAC. I’m not sure if it will help but I had nothing but problems with it, especially with audio drivers and play-out software.
Dr.JMemberKeep in mind there are multiple instance discounts, and each instance is a stereo processor.

I very much needed a quick response to my question because I needed Breakaway installed and working on a Windows 7 machine for a very important social event. I put the question up Friday night and imho, 24 hours in more than enough time to expect a reply. However, the event came and went and I wasn’t able to get Breakaway {any version} to work. I got one reply from timmy asking questions. Before jumping to conclusion and putting me down, please understand that more often than not, when a member posts a question that member needs a fast reply.
I think the following quote sums up this post:
βLack of preparation on your part does not constitute an emergency on mineβ
There is no need for angry eyes or ill willed comments. Based on the information originally posted there wasn’t a clear solution. More information is required and was requested. Additionally, I have Breakaway DJ and Breakaway Audio Enhancer working fine on two separate Windows 7 machines – but wasn’t available on such short notice to help you troubleshoot. Would you still like assistance in troubleshooting your installation? If so, just let me know.

What are you trying to do with this box anyways?
Sounds like a question from a bot, so I’d guess it’s not trying to do anything with this box except elicit responses – mission accomplished – that’s three so far.
Dr.JMemberI’m pretty sure BDJ doesn’t support any DVS right now. It has been mentioned that the next version might have this capability, but we’ll have to wait and see when the new version is released.
Dr.JMemberI’ve used Total Recorder Professional (http://www.totalrecorder.com/using_scheduler.htm) for recording and transcoding purposes. I’m pretty sure it will do everything you need.
Dr.JMemberNot overly active π
Do you have a green circular icon in your taskbar on the bottom right of your screen? If you don’t there is an issue, contact Breakaway support directly.
If you do this is Breakaway running, try right clicking on the icon and selecting "open main window" then right click on the title bar and select "settings" and follow the "wizard" to get things setup properly. Let us know how you get along.
Dr.JMemberMaybe in an upcoming version but for now you are stuck with two channels.
Dr.JMemberI don’t stream at all, but have you read and followed this post here… http://www.claessonedwards.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1735
Dr.JMemberSo you want all the features of a $10,000 box for $500?!? It never hurts to ask I guess π
Dr.JMemberHey Timmy, sounds good for a webcast. Very listenable, been on for about 1/2 hour & no urge to change the channel π [after further listening, maybe a little drop in bass or increase in mid/high presence – only because it’s country music]
Just listened to Louis’ webcast, very "in your face" processing. It works well for the style of music played – sounds very Top40 FM radio.
It would depend very much on my mood which station I’d tune into, both sound very tuned to their respective music and audience styles. Good job.
Dr.JMemberIt might be anything from a windows update to a conflicting software install. I would try re-installing Breakaway to see if that fixes it.
January 13, 2011 at 1:15 am in reply to: BBP ASIO can NOT enter info into I/0 card… please help..! #11757Dr.JMemberNot sure what exactly you are referring to, please elaborate. What sound-card, operating system, etc. are you using? What exactly are you using BBP ASIO for, hardware processing/on-air processing/web streaming processing? The more information the better, including screen shots of settings windows or error messages you are encountering trouble with.

Well, I can only hope they will make a preset that doesn’t affect the volume that much.
The only problem is that is specifically what the software is designed to do, keep the volume at a consistent listening level. It’s great for any noisy or loud environments. It sounds like what you are looking for is no audio processing at all, meaning you don’t need audio processing software.
Dr.JMemberA quick search of the forum found this post… http://www.claessonedwards.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1007&start=0
