ok cool it.. I for one am still very happy with breakaway.
Without the breakaway processor i could not achieve the performance we have on FM.We just do not have enough budget to buy an omnia 9 or whatever.
If Leif decides to stop working on this project i could understand. I would go for the big $$$ definitely.
I still believe that Leif will restyle BBP.. and if not.. oh well… the old stuff works..like the f’Ãng energizer bunny 🙂
Give the man some time.. b patient.

The older ones work on almost any machine.So yes.. i would like the old ones to be downloadable to.

We had problems in the past with BBP..and they were related to 3th party software drivers.
They all got solved until we had a similar problem like yours.
3 identical systems.. 2 flawless 1 with problems.. we replaced the common problem causers like network interface and other ad-on cards.
Problem got solved by replacing the 1 motherboard cause there was just a little problem with it.. harddrive related.
We discovered this because the harddrive got slower and slower until it just stopped for seconds.
The whole system paused and sometimes just halted to a state of doing nothing.. until we reset the damn thing.
Months later the other motherboards got the same problem.. Replacing them solved it.
Of course we ran all tests.. like temperature problems, drivers and so on..Now, in this forum i posted a problem that also was related to hardware but this was not the same.. just for the record.
Cause that problem occurred on 3 different systems but with the same ad-on hardware.
Replacing the NICs solved this.What i’m saying is… never trust a new computer.. if two work and one not.. replace it 🙂

Just for the record..
We have a 2x stereo connection already set-up … up and running, BBP is already at the transmitter site.
incl back-up via DSL.My question was only for fun and hobby reasons.

Still no luck.. after apr. 1 month of struggle we decided to remove breakaway out of our air-chain.
It was to good to be true..Our technical staff is still trying to revive the breakawaybox and they will continue to do so until they figure out what the hell is wrong with it.
But it is just unacceptable that we have continuous error’s and no audio on our transmitter..So..
We’re very sorry that our breakaway adventure has to end here.
If something comes up we’l give a heads-up..

We did not think of that cause the pipeline gets reinstalled with every update ? Not ?
Anyway its on again currently @ ver .77 running without problems.Is there a pipeline update as well ?

Just a question,
processing CB radio ? is this the 27 Mhz ? those transceivers have a very narrow bandwidth .. is it worth the effort to process the microphone ?
And HAM .. is it like local radio ? or people who test stuff all day 🙂 … you know ,amateur radio.
In the Netherlands you can not broadcast between 87.5 -108.0 not even with a amateur licence..
Is the HAM thing licence free in the united states ?Can anyone listen in without special receiving equipment ? (not like a normal radio).
