MemberThe search box is removed due to hosting company’s repeated interruptions, I think it’s related to CPU usage or something, search function uses quite a lot of CPU you know..

MemberThat’s amazing! *drool*
But I have wondered.. how much does the bit depth affect in this type of application? There seems to be something like 14bit and 12bit DAC’s with enough MSPS.. I have thought about building a DDS FM-modulator myself 😛

quote :Are you also administrator of this site Milky? At my suggestion (because I am available in a different time zone), Leif gave me some admin powers to try and control the amount of spam we are getting. I do what I can.
On what timezone do you live exactly? I check this board many times a day for new posts, but usually I only find spam (well, not now of course because of the latest bans..). My timezone is UTC+2..

MemberWhy does it take so long to move this site to another provider?

MemberHmm, I don’t know how much does that differ from Windows 2000 in virtual environment, but it worked there just nice!

MemberWell, maybe this is not the case but it’s better to try: have you enabled Windows Audio -service? =)
Modulator
MemberWell, that looks just amazing, no more spammer if that mod is applied =)

MemberMaybe it was a security breach, because there were adverts on the "404" page..

MemberWell, i’m sorry if I made anyone feel bad, I respect Leif and others contributing the development of Breakaway, product still sounds awesome, but the "rumor" about MPX clipper left out from the game didn’t exactly please me, shouldn’t the PC processing be the brightest star on the processing milkyway 😉
Let’s just hope that even though Omnia.9 will be the best of the best, the Breakaway will not be abandoned completely when adopting new superb algorithms (and maybe a REAL Breakaway box comes someday (yes, with the same oh-so-sweet green theme)) 😛
And yeah, I’m not even professional, I don’t run any radio stations, I just like to listen my music through BBP because it’s nice to dream about running own FM radio station..
Thanks JesseG, was indeed intentional, it fitted perfectly to my post to describe my past feelings 😉

The MPX clipper however probably will not be introduced in the software, even in the possible software (again, no promises) above the current top shelf BBP+ASIO.
Well.. that’s a shame. That obviously means that Breakaway will drop to "decent"-level of processors. Money money money, must be funny, in the rich man’s world.

MemberWhoah, very annoying installer btw! The Winamp DSP version doesn’t install anywhere else than Winamp-folder, and I think it sniffs if Winamp really is installed there, otherwise there’s no chance..
Edit: there already was info about this in the other thread..

MemberYay, lossless, sounds nice 🙂

Member
honestly… Omnia.11 gives Breakaway a run for its money. Mainly because of excellent density-aware compression and limiting. Is it a coincident that’s the #1 thing I would love to see Leif add? 😉 But I will also add that the MPX clipper is also a game changer too. Once that is available, I think it will make picking one or the other even harder.
Omg, BBP price skyrocketing…

MemberI think that Breakaway professional products are already used in production environments around the world.
