Can you broadcast LOUD and at the same time … AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE and at the same time playing sometimes.. 128 kbps mp3 songs on your radio automation software ? ➡
YES YOU CAN! BY USING ether BREAKAWAY ether ST
( the latest betas of both 2 different software processors does the job BETTER THAN OMNIA AND ORBAN LATEST MODELS !! ..but with edited presets in order to go ..beyond the limits of loudness 🙂mms://1045fm.live24.gr/1045fm/
http://1045fm.live24.gr/1045fm/
check my FM modulation here : ( L – R 128 kbps WMA compressed )
and please listen for more than 5 minutes to be sure that you don’t hear only 80s bad recordings .. 🙁
be patient and keep in mind that the loudness is ….at very very extreme levels .( i play at 75 khz FM STEREO RDS deviation and i look like 180 khz overmodulated radiostations …BUT i am compatible with ALL KINDS OF RADIO RECIEVERS ( on cars ) than any other radiostation

http://1045fm.live24.gr/1045fm/please submit any comments feedback but remember , this is FM maxloudness!
January 25, 2011 at 6:57 pm #11802JesseGMemberSounds pretty nice camclone. The sound of your station has got lots better in the year. I still would love to hear it in person and see your setup some time if I ever go to Greece. 🙂
January 25, 2011 at 7:05 pm #11803camcloneMemberThanks Jessie,
I am waiting for the breakaway hardware box 🙂 !!!The impossible happened.
I ve tested my L/R processed audio with other hardware FM processors and my resaults showed that :
Breakaway and STool with properly edited presets can sound 40 % louder even without mpx limiting …than Omnia 11 and orban 8600!
The core is done on both software processors.
Now , the work has to be done in FM PROPERLY EDITED presets for max loudness and acceptable clearness just like some your presets !January 25, 2011 at 9:55 pm #11804michi95Member
LOUD and at the same time … AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE
Yes, you can !
But even when it is better (louder and cleaner than the big boxes in the market) than it is still not good.
and please listen for more than 5 minutes
LOL
That’s the point.
It is as if you can drive with your car faster (without extra danger of damages) than others.
But is it really an advantage to drive constanly with 250 kmph instead of 200 kmph ?
Ok, you are faster (=louder).
But it is fatigueing and boring, too.Why is it fun to drive a car ?
➡ To pick up speed !
But you cannot pick up speed when you constantly drive with maximal speed.
So what acceleration/slowing down is for driving a car, that is dynamic range for music.January 26, 2011 at 9:45 am #11805camcloneMembervery very good explanation michi but here in ..Greek Islands there is a lot of competition in loudness WAR ! 🙂
many stations wanna be loud and ..just play at 140 khz with the disadvantage of ..incompatibility with some car radio recievers .
Using breakaway and stool you can be the LOUDEST even more than omnia and orban and acceptable CLEAN even with 128 kbps songs if your AGC and multiband is configured using …dirty songs 🙂those 2 software processors have broken the limits in sound processing loudness!
in FM it’s very important to play at max 75 khz deviation that’s the big deal 🙂i wish breakaway hardware box has …mpx limiter!! ..after that the loudness will go on it’s limits 🙂
….but the spectrum will look like .. ..the digital TV spectrum 🙂 😐 😐January 26, 2011 at 2:28 pm #11806sgeirkMemberFar out! Camclone, you’ve had an Omnia.11 AND an Orban 8600 in your possession to test against Breakaway? You are a rockstar!!!!
January 26, 2011 at 7:01 pm #11807camcloneMemberHeyyyyy, i didn’t have those 2 magic boxes in my radiostation 🙂 i had 6 files with 192 KHZ WAV RECORDINGS FROM THOSE 2 PROCESSORS
I wish i could touch …those 2 space processors 🙂
nevermind. 🙂
January 27, 2011 at 1:31 am #11808JesseGMemberhonestly… Omnia.11 gives Breakaway a run for its money. Mainly because of excellent density-aware compression and limiting. Is it a coincident that’s the #1 thing I would love to see Leif add? 😉 But I will also add that the MPX clipper is also a game changer too. Once that is available, I think it will make picking one or the other even harder.

Omg, BBP price skyrocketing…
January 28, 2011 at 12:33 pm #11810feelingMember@Camclone: Please tell us if you are using BBP or Stereotool in your station now. Same post its on the Stool forum. And please share your settings. 😉
January 29, 2011 at 1:49 pm #11811camcloneMemberBoth programs ( stool and breakaway can make exactly the same LOUDNESS LEVELS AND ACCEPTABLE CLEARNESS at the same time .
only those 2 programs can make that huge ammounts of " sound energy " ( loudness and pseudo-dynamics for our ears.. )Omnia 11 cannot do such levels ( with default presets )
Orban 8600 cannot do such levels ( with default presets )January 29, 2011 at 2:45 pm #11812AnonymousGuestBOTH programs???
😯
🙄January 29, 2011 at 3:49 pm #11813JesseGMemberDaisy chained processing has been done in the past. One of the best 80s setups I’ve ever heard was two VERY customized Aphex 2020s. It’s definitely something to be very careful to not overdo, especially peak limiting.
January 30, 2011 at 2:04 pm #11814camcloneMemberOooooopss 🙂 I didn’t mean that i use at the same time both programs 🙁))))
Aphex 2020s ? …do you remember Behringer processors with …the custom … chip !!?!!??!?!
What a decade!!! 90s!!! …at that decate …it was normal to your ears …to hear pumps on the sound …l up and down , up and down… AGC from the stoneage ….and no …lookahead technology !! 🙂 ( behringer was an exception with the modified chip ..and a very very cheap processor! )
January 30, 2011 at 3:14 pm #11815Q106MemberA couple of mods on the Behringer mdx 4000 and 8000 made magic come out of those boxes. The 8000 mod became the Banshee.Great audio at a bargain price.Maybe you could post your clips of the 11.I think most of us have heard the 8600.
