It's unclear from your post whether you are using Breakaway or Stereo Tool. You know that they are different, right?
BA1 only uses 16 bit VST anyway. Somewhere there is an explanation as to why, so it should be better to use the native code that Leif added in 3.19.42.

KeymasterHi vpnmaster. I am not of the correct answer, so I am seeking a response from others in the support team. However, as I understand it, the more bits, the higher the resolution, but it may be a waste of time if the tx can't cope or if it introduces distortion.

Are there any buffer sizes that you can tweak? It sounds like it needs larger buffers so that the higher rate can fill up more.
Try streaming it directly to a local PC. If that works, the problem is downstream with your ISP, server, time-slicing, buffering etc.James
KeymasterDrop the rate down on the 320 feed to see if it stabilises at 128 or 256ks. That will tend to eliminate cables and connections, then we can drill down on the server.

KeymasterOK. You can safely run the TX end as a service, because you can also run BARemote at the transmitter site by using the local address 127.0.0.1:8200. This will let you control it if you are physically at the TX site, or you can do the same at the studio end by using BARemote with the endpoint (tx) IP address.

KeymasterAh! It's becoming clearer. Teamviewer actually connects via their servers, so there is no direct link, whereas your STL is a direct connection, as is BA Remote. It has the additional benefit of being built specifically for the job, so uses very little CPU or network bandwidth. Teamviewer, in particular, is very network intensive, because all its traffic is routed from you – their server – the endpoint (and return).
If you have BA1 running as a service at the transmitter, and you know the IP address of the computer running it, you should be able to connect simply by adding that IP plus colon (:) plus the port address 8200 (example 192.168.10.1:8200) to the BA Remote interface.
Note that you can control a great deal of the options, but, if you need to change the actual configuration (example – change the input configuration for the soundcard , you will probably have to remove the service, change the configuration and restart the service.

KeymasterIf the transmitter end has an IP address, you should be able to connect. However, I am baffled by your comment that it has no internet access, yet you are streaming.

KeymasterI seem to recall that Leif purposely leaves Winamp VSTs alone, but can't remember the reason. Perhaps they don't play nicely with BA1.
I have a RIAA curve VST for playing phono through BA1. It also does not display the user options, but, once they are set, BA1 obeys the settings.

KeymasterYou do not need ASIO4ALL if your sound card supports ASIO and drivers have been provided. ASIO4ALL is a program which emulates ASIO, but just adds another layer to the latency. What is the make/model of your sound card?

KeymasterYes! If you have an ASIO capable sound device, use it as the primary. You need to set up the buffers etc both at the card level,and then inside BA1 to get the least latency without hearing glitches.
