Think I've probably been looking at this too long but I am experimenting with STL as per Leif's video.
– I have BAO running and sending audio to an Icecast2 server on one machine 192.168.1.145 (studio)
– On another machine 192.168.1.104 (Transmitter), I have BAO stream receiver pointing to the above machine
– Mountpoint is default as I havent changed anything on the Icecast server. What should the URL be on the TX machine?
Probably worthy of a mention – on the Transmitter machine, if I point a browser to 192.168.1.145:8000 (studio machine) I get the Icecast status screen up and the audio will play.
Any ideas?
November 1, 2018 at 8:33 pm #15096JesseGMemberThere are m3u playlist links on the right side of the Icecast page, one for each mount/stream.
The mount point URL is the same as that playlist link, without the .m3u on the end.
December 3, 2018 at 12:57 am #15097beej6ParticipantI too am having an issue with connecting the Pass Through/Studio side of one machine with the Processor/Transmitter side of the other BaOne machine.
One caveat, though: I have live audio on Transmitter side, so I'm still having to config the ASIO. Seems like I can't do it while audio is passing through the Transmitter sound card; I think I have to shut down my live audio to allow BaOne to be configured on that side.December 4, 2018 at 6:19 pm #15098JesseGMemberbeej6, you're trying to use the same soundcard input/output with ASIO in two different software (BreakawayOne and something else) at the same time?
In general that's not possible.
December 4, 2018 at 6:34 pm #15099beej6ParticipantThanks Jesse, yes, even just the config fails.
I will take the other software offline (=radio station off the air) to config BaOne, then try it again.
Appreciate the guidance for this non-techie.
Blessings,

Now to find time to explore the presets again…
December 13, 2018 at 7:33 pm #15101MilkyKeymasterGlad that you got it going. Care to share for others who might also hit the same wall?
Leif has promised some more demo videos, as they work so much better than pages and pages of fine print.
December 13, 2018 at 9:21 pm #15102beej6ParticipantWell, for this amateur, part of it was the issue I noted above, I had to "disconnect" an existing ASIO sound source before I could finish BaOne configuration on the Transmitter side.
Then, for this network amateur, very carefully making sure that the IP addresses were compatible, eg. 127.0.0.1:<port number> on the Studio side, and <my localip>:<port number>/stl?k=<password> on the Transmitter side. If my summary doesn't help, Leif helpfully notes the relevant addresses on the relevant screens for stream sending and receiving. -
