You might also try Flowplayer. (http://www.flowplayer.org) I do not believe it supports ogg.

Have you tried the Classical preset? That what I use. I find it very transparent and it evens out the levels. You probably won’t win any loudness wars but there is room for some tweaking.sneradioMember

HE had to change something with is ISP so it went from radiorio to rioradio.
And his ISP wouldn’t let him setup a redirect on the old URL.
Thanks for the info guys.sneradioMember
You mean

Interesting. I had the other link bookmarked for months and it always worked. They must have changed it sometime between now and then. In any event, I’m glad to see them up and running!sneradioMember
"assumption is the mother of all fuckups"
As someone who often works in a live television master control environment, I can attest to the truthfulness of that statement! 😆sneradioMember
So if you have the mixer set to null output, and Livelink1 and your encoder enabled, how did you hear the sound while streaming your music/content? Did you have to make BreakAwayLive the default playback or recording device in windows? Did BreakAwayLive have to be running in the background?
Any help here would be appreciated.
The setup described was for a situation where Studio was installed on a dedicated server with no sound card. The audio is monitored by listening to the stream. So this particular configuration would not be suitable if you are doing a lot of live programming.sneradioMember
It’s still up in the usual spot. Why do you want to use a version that is this old?
LOL…well, I’m using one of the original versions. If it aint broke…January 16, 2011 at 10:45 pm in reply to: Better understanding on multiple instances of Breakaway Live #11785sneradioMemberThere are multiple versions of live Livelink, each related to an instance of BA-Live.For example dsp_livelink1.dll handles the first pipeline, dsp_livelink2.dll handles the 2nd one. At least in theory…I only have one station at the moment but that’s my understanding…
sneradioMemberI’m doing the same. The following should get you going. Be sure to do this when Studio is stopped.
1) Copy dsp_livelink1.dll to C:Program FilesStationPlaylistEnginePlugins.
2) In Studio go to View|Options and select Output.
3) Check the Use Mixer checkbox.
4) On the Mixer tab select Null Output as the Device.
5) Under Digital Signal Processors click the Refresh button.
6) You should now see Breakaway Live – Livelink 1 in the list. Move that to a spot above Oddcast and check both Oddcast and Livelink1.sneradioMemberLooks like http://users.tpg.com.au/radiorio/ is gone for now too.
sneradioMember
HE or PS profile? That’s an important factor at those bitrates.
According to my Edcast config it is "AAC+V2 parametric stereo". I believe AAC+V2 implies both HE and PS profiles. Is that right?sneradioMemberAAC+ @ 24kbps 32kHz stereo sounds fairly decent as my station will demonstrate. Check it out at http://loudcity.com/stations/soft-n-eas … isten.html
sneradioMember
mind sharing the rest of your settings?
All default except
Power: 65
Bass boost: +5sneradioMember
because the highs are just too bright and it gives no way to adjust them.
One reason I settled on using the Reference Classical preset. No apparent boost in the high end.sneradioMemberI successfully run SPL with Breakaway and Livelink on a dedicated server. Station Playlist uses a custom version of Edcast so there might be some incompatibility. Although I do seem to recall running other versions of Edcast with previous versions of SPL. You might try re-installing SPL so it reinstalls it’s own version of the Edcast files.
