Finally got the volume working as per Milky's note, Misc > I/O > Output.

Took me a while to figure out why it wasn't originally working… I had to select a soundcard from in the "Speaker" configuration menu. Previously I only had a soundcard selected in the "Output" configuration menu but not the "Speaker" menu.

All working now, so thank you.

I don't believe Breakaway Enhancer allows multiple instances. You would have to move to Breakaway DJ for 2-stereo channels or Breakaway Live for multiple instances – paying extra for each instance.

Personally had some issues with UAC and certain audio drivers. You might have a similar issue, so I’d ensure that UAC is turned off.

Just want to confirm you are using the most recent version 1.30.02, as there were some changes to an earlier version that was supposed to resolve some issues with Win7. I’m not sure if the problem you are having was part of that fix, but you will still want the most recent version.

Sorry I don’t have any first-hand knowledge of transmitting audio over a distance of 1km. From my understanding you will need an STL (Studio Transmitter Link) and it won’t be cheap. I don’t have any recommendations but others with experience will hopefully comment.

I think you might be barking up the wrong tree depending how far the transmitter is from your computer. According to the information here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOSLINK) you will get a maximum of 100 ft. using optical audio cable. Is this far enough for your project?

There are free trials of all the software you mention. I recommend trying BAE with your current setup to see if you find any value in it. Remember though, you can’t process any 5.1 signals yet, only stereo signals – that means BAE goodness is restricted to audio playback or TV/movies in stereo.

If I’m understanding things correctly according to the image, you have (2) stereo inputs for BDJ but only (1) stereo output. You need a soundcard that supports at least (2) stereo outputs to get separate channel control for DJ mixing (i.e. dual stereo output). Alternately, you can use the mixer in your DJ software to crossfade between channels and use a single stereo input into BDJ coinciding with a single stereo output.

Based on the image and info on Gigabyte’s website, your motherboard doesn’t have an SPDIF output, only analog… http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3726#ov

Why are you not just running from OtsAV to BBP to Juli@ ? This is the most direct format.

Are you running standard audio to your speakers or are you processing the sound for over the air broadcast or internet webcasting?
