hello I have a motherboard ga-m68mt-s2p with ALC889 audio, the problem is that in windows xp in the audio control panel does not give the spdif option that contains the option to 192kHz, someone had this problem?

It probably came with its own bundled "Dash Board" software, which owuld provide the option you seek. The Windows drivers are probably generic.

Based on the image and info on Gigabyte’s website, your motherboard doesn’t have an SPDIF output, only analog… http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3726#ov

    I wonder what you’ll do with digital spdif @ 192kHz (?)

btw, it should look like this (when spdif is supported) http://i.imgur.com/SnAcE.png
