I didn’t have knowledge about electronics, unfortunately 😐
No problem, go for one of there boxed and ready to use transmitters: http://www.pcs-electronics.com/transmit … c-1_5.htmlPCS also have antennas and cables, all you need, and great service.
KenMember
Sigmacom is interesting seem to be good.
For BW broadcast, it is 100 Khz step, i need 10 Khz step (.75 Mhz).
Thank you.
Most PCS have PLL steps adjustable to 5KHz-200KHz
If you can electronics, get this one and box it yourself, 40W for 399. http://www.pcs-electronics.com/maxpro-5 … -1845.htmlKenMember
Dear all,
– analog exciter
– MPX input (for BBP 😀 )
– 30W
Maybe unknowns brand, but good transmitter for less money: http://www.pcs-electronics.com/cybermax … -1404.html

KenMemberFound this on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LZQMGREyYw The Omnia guy says it can do many different thing, put on coffé…?
It looks lite a big car stereo…
KenMember
Fan vad tufft 🙂.

KenMember
I wish there were more radio-freaks like you and myself! I’ve recorded and published MPX in several places I’ve visited, hoping to sort of start a community around that (wouldn’t it be awesome to be able to download MPX examples from all over the world?) but the responses I were hoping for (that is, other people recording stuff in THEIR cities and publishing) just aren’t there. 🙁
///Leif

KenMember
Hi Ken!
You need one tuner with mpx output to record this signal, and one 192kHz capable input soundcard.
Good luck!
Thanks "didac", I know all that and have the equipment, problem is that I don’t live in London… so I need some that lives in London to do it for me.

KenMemberLeif, I found a small gfx bugg. Calibration window left bottom, slider for L/R "something"… , see pic
I’m running on Vista 32.

The purpose of the plug-in is to correct channel imbalance errors. For example, if the Right channel is 3dB quieter than the left channel, and you then run a stereo enhancer on this, the error will be greater, for example 6dB!
I havn’t tried it yeat, but what happens to 60′ music like Beatles where L&R are very different some times.

KenMemberLeif,
"Challenger" sounds super, way better than old Orban 222 (and 8400). I do like that it’s multiband and the "Max Attenuation".
Great that you added "stelth mode" but I think that the osiloscope is to wide when you hide the controls, keep the same width as when controls are visible.
/Ken
KenMemberYES! I’m on.
Another suggestion: "stealth mode", by that I want to hide the presets and all the sliders. Why? I want to have BBP in fullscreen (meter mode) in the studio (on a 42′ lcd on the wall) but I don’t want to show people what setting we run on.
In "stelth mode" hide settings and move up the oscilloscopes and make BBP logo bigger, or something like that.

KenMember
Marian Trace 8 is a nice card. 8 balanced analog inputs and outputs, DC STRAIGHT outputs (!!), and 192 kHz support. This card is ideal for an FM processor. It is quite a bit more expensive than ESI Juli@ or M-Audio AP192 — Trace 8 is €399 — but you get what you pay for. DC straight outputs means no tilt adjustment. It’s a different grade of card from pro-sumer ESI and M-Audio.
Is this the Marian card you talk about Leif ? http://www.marian.de/en/products/trace8

quote :I hade to set latency on my ESI-MAYA44 to 1024 (outhervise I got poping/cracking sound) , but stil studio out is good for live performance (I can’t here any delay on the mic). MPX is about 0.5 sec deleyed.Try running with or without realtime priority, it may make a difference. Also, if MPX is 0.5 seconds delayed, you’re running in Full Quality mode. Try low latency mode 🙂. There’s a switch in the signal settings window.
///Leif
Ok I try change mode. But the 0.5 sec delay on MPX don’t border me, as I listen to the studio output,I rather have "Full Quality" than lower quality and low latency on MPX output.
But I have an request. I have many ASIO soundcards, but only MAYA44 have 4 ASIO channels out and support 192k. (and I think not so many card have 4 or more channels and 192k). So my request is that BBP ASIO could support two ASIO cards, one for studio output and one card for MPX.
