    An other question. Have you tested the modified version of edcast ?

    This version would improve PS… I haven’t tested it yet.
    Edcast doesn’t seems to be developped by his autor…

    Nothing that icecast can’t do…

    Lower jingles would be a great option because we use SPL + BBP and we have no problem.

    BBP is excellent !!! 🙂

    Very gooood for me but just a little too bass for me (question of taste).
    I haven’t yet played with excessive down and up speed and power… But the result is very very good for CHR format for example.

    Can you please give me more details about this…
    If BBP ASIO is in "phase linear" mode, why wouldn’t it be ideal sound quality with a 15 or 25us pre-emphasis ? Isn’t it like BBP for webcasting with this settings ?

    Not exactly, you can have 0.90.96 …97 …98 …99 but after, it can be 0.91.00 …01…….. 😉

    And what about BBP for webcasting ?
    I missed something…
    Did you explain somewhere why BBP Live is better for webcasting ?

    No problem with edcast from many years (about 2004). Edcast dsp or standalone works perfectly for me… 🙂
    Moreover, it’s free… and run with aac+ v2 dll.

    I would reduce the gain of B4 to 8db for a less wide stereo for some low bitrate streams… What do you think about it ?

    This is wide stereo.
    What would you do to make it sound soft but nice stereo ? Because you said in a previous post that this sound is wide stereo and these settings are made to prevent "blur vocals"…
