Happy easter 🙂.
Breakaway Broadcast 0.90.95
Breakaway Broadcast ASIO 0.90.95New since 0.90.94:
New Motor City preset by Jesse G
New Zenith preset in Live, BBP, BBP ASIO
Old Twente preset now also in Breakaway LiveBreakaway Live Wave-writing "bug" in 0.90.94 fixed
New since 0.90.93:
New Zenith preset (Live only) by JesseG
New Celeste Preset (BBP+BBP ASIO only) by Lee XSBreakaway Live has a new Ultra-low latency mode, which adds just 2ms to the pass-through latency
Obsolete (previously deleted) presets can now be accessed. Edit the INI file, and in the [Master] section add ObsoletePresets=1
Number of instances can now be UPGRADED with a special key. So, it will now be possible to buy an upgrade key to for example upgrade your 1-instance license to 2 or 4 instances! The feature is implemented in the program, but not yet in the web store.
Issues fixed:
BBP / BBP ASIO: L/R PEQ2 now works, no longer below the edge of the window
In Breakaway Live, the Trial commercial now doesn’t play in Bypass, provided you’re running Broadcast mode, or Speaker mode with the Speaker EQ also bypassed.Enjoy 🙂.

April 7, 2010 at 12:17 am #10320AnonymousGuestlove the new motor city pre-set. finaly found a preset suited to my taste for dance music. i use bassfx and impact clunk together (not sure if i should do that realy but i like the sound of it). i take it they don’t cancel each other out soundwise? anyway thanks for the best sounding processer ever life.
April 7, 2010 at 6:53 am #10321AnonymousGuestfor the radio station, what better (BBP / BBP ASIO / BA LIVE)?, so good RDS, Streaming, Live Broadcast Recordings, by setting the system itself, because BBP ASIO for streaming audio can not own setup.
Thank’sApril 7, 2010 at 8:00 am #10322LeifKeymasterFor an FM station with streaming, BBP ASIO + LIVE is the best combination.
BBP ASIO shouldn’t do steaming (not ideal sound quality) and BBP LIVE cannot do FM at all.
Best,
///LeifApril 7, 2010 at 1:49 pm #10323michi95MemberI had to reboot Windows (XP pro SP2) after the installation of BA Live 0.90.95 on top of build 94.
Is this a general change (back to the way the older updates worked) or is it just for the step from build 94 to build 95 ?April 7, 2010 at 2:22 pm #10324GuillouMember
BBP ASIO shouldn’t do steaming (not ideal sound quality) and BBP LIVE cannot do FM at all.
And what about BBP for webcasting ?
I missed something…
Did you explain somewhere why BBP Live is better for webcasting ?April 7, 2010 at 2:29 pm #10325michi95Member
not sure why Motor City didn’t end up in Breakaway Live, probably was just a mistake, but it should be in the next version of Live. Celeste also wasn’t in Live, not sure why there… if it’s been ported from the FM version or not.
viewtopic.php?p=6968#p6968Any hope for Live users to get Motor City in the next release (build 96) ?
Leif, it seems to me as if you are now on the road of destination for version 1.0.
There are four betas leftover (the builds 96, 97, 98 and 99) before version 1.0.
These betas are like four bullets in your Colt revolver.
But nobody tells you that you need them all before version 1.0 ! 😆Yes, you can !
April 7, 2010 at 3:02 pm #10326GuillouMemberNot exactly, you can have 0.90.96 …97 …98 …99 but after, it can be 0.91.00 …01…….. 😉
April 7, 2010 at 3:41 pm #10327LeifKeymasterOh i’m counting in hexadecimal, so after 0.99.99 is 0.99.9A. Will we get to 1.0 in my lifetime? Who knows 🙂
Anyway motor city will be in the next live release. Celeste will be in if Lee XS sends me a live version of the preset.
Live will see a lot of improvements in the near future such as:
Toolbar (finally)
Standby/hibernate crash bug fixed (just like in bae)
PA features for venues with both live-band and DJ
Keyboard control of volume and bypass.Best regards

I have done a few calculations to predict the beta releases and the final 1.0 version.
All calculations using the decimal system !Guillou wrote
you can have 0.90.96 …97 …98 …99 but after, it can be 0.91.00 …01……..Using decimal system:
There are 900 (9×100)
+ 4 (builds 96, 97, 98, 99 of 0.90.xy betas)
= 904
leftover betas before version 1.0 !Or if this is not enough for Leif and he starts with the hexadecimal system:
There are 3840 (15×256)
+ 161 (256-95)
= 4001
leftover betas before version 1.0 !I hope that is enough, Leif ?
If you have 80 years leftover to live on this planet (and before the release of version 1.0 !)
using the hexadecimal system, you will have to release approx. every week a new beta version. So, you better stop wasting your time by reading my ridicolous posts or any other in this forum and better start today writing new betas and compile them.
Because if you want to release version 1.0 in five years, you have to build 16 beta versions every week.
We are waiting for 2.28571…….. new betas every day.
Yesterday we had build 95.
Today we are still waiting for build 96 and 97.
I can’ t wait until Thursday when we will get 0.90.98 and 0.90.99 !Have fun !
PS: The calculations are based on one product (like BA Live) !
For all your other products (BA Enhancer, Broadcast, DJ, etc.) you should consider to clone yourself.
You are lucky, because BA Live and Broadcast are already at 0.90 ! 8)April 7, 2010 at 5:38 pm #10329timmywaParticipant
Oh i’m counting in hexadecimal, so after 0.99.99 is 0.99.9A. Will we get to 1.0 in my lifetime? Who knows 🙂

//Leif
Can I beg again for these to be added to Enhancer too?? At least new zenith and Motor City??
April 8, 2010 at 12:31 am #10330JesseGMemberThe new Zenith will probably make it. Not sure on Motor City, totally up to Leif. Breakaway Audio Enhancer has the same concerns as Breakaway DJ, as far as the need to retain some of the original micro-dynamics.
There’s of course also the whole idea of the up-sell. Pretty much everyone selling more than one of anything has an up-sell to better products. In this case… BAE –> Live or DJ. And still to come, the surround sound version of BAE. 😉
April 8, 2010 at 3:55 am #10331LeifKeymasterMichi, LOL 🙂. Alright, fair enough. I should nail down the 1.0 feature set and go for it. I’m tempted to add VST plug-in support though.

True that. To be frank, I’m delighted over the feature set and presets in the $29.95 BAE. The FM Mode is a free bonus, not a reason to add all the presets from BBP 🙂.

April 8, 2010 at 12:27 pm #10332MilkyKeymasterSo is BADJ going to become the "poor cousin" just because you designed it for big speakers in "DJ" venues?
I bought it because I live in a situation where most of my audio experience is video tracks on a very big home theatre screen and I needed the program to fine tune my audio enjoyment without introducing visible latency to my A/V experience. I love it, but find the limited number of presets a bit of a "downer".
Maybe I bought the wrong product? Give me something that provides the very low latency for video display, with the supurb audio manipulation you provide.April 8, 2010 at 1:52 pm #10333LeifKeymaster
So is BADJ going to become the "poor cousin" just because you designed it for big speakers in "DJ" venues?
Definitely not! DJ has many features not available in any other Breakaway product, and it will get more presets over time. There’s no point in releasing it on the same schedule as the broadcast products though, as that would take time away from actual Breakaway DJ feature development!
I do intend for Breakaway DJ to be "the only Breakaway you need" even if you’re not DJ’ing at the time.
However, I do have to be very careful about what presets I put in, because if I included all the broadcast presets and features from Live, it would have to be the same price of a 2-instance Live, and then it would be too expensive for casual DJ use.

I thought I did 🙂. What are you missing exactly?
