Hey Appie, are you using Airomate? make sure you are choosing Channels: 2 (Mix) in the BBP I/O configuration, and make sure Airomate is really outputting 19000 Hz Pilot and RDS simultaneously.

Lee, I try not to 🙂.

    ///Leif
Yes i use airomate , i think the settings are ok , but the extern pilot keeps flashing.
Its not a problem with your software , its over here but i must find out where .
I had this problem before , it has to do with the settings but where goes it wrong ?

    Grtz , Appie
Appie, I’ve managed to source the track now and after a very brief listen, I couldn’t hear anything out of the ordinary that the "other" presets weren’t doing. Can you be more specific?
Hi Lee ,

    Thanks for your reply !

Its in the first of that song round 7/8 sec . when the bass comes in .

The AGC doesnt like it !

When i play the same 7/8 sec . with the New York preset , the bassdrum doesnt go down .

But anyway the preset sounds good ! keep up the good work ,

I tested the point blank preset a few days .

The agc seems to have a problem when a bassdrum kicks in .
Like this song from Capella – You and me
Its pumping and breathing , i moved the sliders but no results .
Next week i try an Behringer composer in front of BBP ..

BBP works fine standalone leiff 😉

Its only to see what is happening , because a lot of stations use preprocessing to get more punch .
Update :

I try the setup with a composer in front ..

It doesnt sound better , even worser

For those who wanna try DONT , use BBP standalone !
Thanks a lot Leif!

I changed my original posting, I removed the PCI and price options.

(Well i need to save some more money, to have one good sound card who suit my needs.)

So I think i go for the Marian Trace 8:

    http://www.musicdeals.nl/product/marian-trace-8/
    It’s about 360 Euro

So any other suggestions are (again) welcome.
Much cheaper :
    M-Audio Revolution 5.1 supports 192khz , need a little bit tilt calibration .
Works fine here with BBP and Airomate
    Around 75 euro 😛
Hi, some of you had calibrated the Realtek HD Audio ALC888 card. This card comes onboard with a few motherbords. I can’t to run the tests for calibrate it. If someone have the tilt value for this card please share with us here. Thanks in advance.
Hi ,

I know that the Realtek HD needs no calibration .. its completely DC straight and had flat frequency response all the way to 56 khz .

Correct me if i am wrong !
