it seens that the " targeted group" of this forum is full of people who don’t have big commercial radio stations 🙁
it’s time for some publicity Leif and Jessie !
When the hardware box is ready you should start publishing the news to the globe not only on… google crawler. ( big radio stations give money for a " big box " , small pirate stations don’t .
anyway, let’s wait until leif is ready for some demo hardware systems.

Everyone overmodulate, everyone mpx clip,
but ..with breakaway broadcast i am the only one who broadcast at 75 KHz and i am louder than those who are at 150 KHz!i wanna be loud ..
at the FM dial , my station is very clean, but you are right! the stream is very messy.
Blame … Simplecast and WMA 🙂i use the same server for stream and FM MPX.. that’s a problem

i lowered the final drive a lot now.now it’s better.
that final drive was the cause of that mess ( as always i do the same mistake, i make a sound and finnaly…i increase the final drive and ..mess it up 🙂)
now ok!i also, increased the output so now it ‘s 0 db .
check now plz 2 or 3 songs plzzzz

if the DSP plugins are loaded after the bult-in breakaway AGC control they will perform excellent with all songs,

That’s the truth,
to make the ultimate loudness/clearness sound you have to check the sound on many types of speakers!Leif,
the clicks on the .93 version with the new pipelines happen whatever settings o make on IO settings..I never had such a problem before with earlier versions.
My system is broadcasting with realtek onboard soundcard and i tried many versions of sound drivers.
with .87 version everything is excellent, but not with .93.the clicks are very audible on the internet stream which goes through "breakaway pipeline 2" internaly.
i now run with .87 and i m ok

BaaaaaAAaaaaad news.. 🙁
It’s the first time i have problems with small clicks on my Breakaway Broadcast ( BBP ) version.
using .93 version!
i went back to .87.( the clicks become audible from the first minutes of use ) ( .93 )
until .87 i never had any problems with ANY buffer configuration and with ANY other settings used and with ANY graphics and audio card drivers versions at the same hardware configuration.!!!
maiby it’s the latest pipeline version problem 4.9.8.2388 .
i am sure that the cause of the problem is that g@@d d@@@m f@@@cking version 4.9.8.2388i went back to 4.9.5.2253 with .87 version and i am now ok.
the problems are audible from the first minutes of use , i repeat.. 🙂 ..…not after X XX days.
p.s. check my FM broadcast here : http://1045fm.live24.gr/1045fm/ ( it s windows media audio with 75 msec preemfasis for emergency STL handover proposes.) i know that this audio codec has overshoots..don’t shoot !!! 🙂
it’s more clear and loud than everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!i found a way to make good settings … i stopped configuring my sound using headphones !!! that’s the secret!! do neeeeeeeeeever use headphones for FM broadcast (loudness/clearness) sound setup!!

this "software STL through WiFi " project has no money ( for programmers ) in the "real world" of radio stations around the world.I mean that. Leif, cannot make much money with that project .
I think that Leif thinks more clear than ever 🙂 He must find a secure way of publishing his applications..and that was …using hardware 🙂

digital STL …hardware..
Digital direct synthesis Exciters ..hardware.Using a windows pc…is cheap but …cheap..
using a special hardware system without ..windows ..is stable, secure and the programmer ..will make much more money becuse of that "real world" theory.by the way… software STL should be very easy to make i think.

Hey, if all the radiostations in my area could be legal with 75 KHz deviation you would see the advantages of my sound.
i sound loud and …as clear as it can go with that extreme breakaway settings.
i know how to become more clear with all types of music using breakaway default settings BUT i want to be loud and legal 🙂
my station 75 KHz has exactly the same loudness with all the others who overmodulate with 120 KHz!
but , my station doesn’t sound to "people’s ears" the same as some stations that overmodulate with 180 and 200 KHz 🙂
i can be as loud as 120 KHz stations but not ..as loud as 180 and 200 KHz stations.i know how to become more clear but i prefer ..extreme loudness and legal modulation….thats all folks!
p.s.
Don’t forget that ..if broadcasting at 75 KHz modulation you will be compatible with all all all the radio recievers in the world !! ( car stereos, home stereos, mp3 players..bla bla bla…)
if i play at 120 KHz with my extreme settings…..i am sure that you will be excited 🙂 🙂 🙂
