If I was him, I had the decency to talk with us costumers to explain the software is abandoned forever or just keep telling crap at the NAB or IBC.

These ProStream projects are not for FM use I asume? So it's cheaper to buy an old machine and run Breakaway on it, so far your argument, most of us run a FM station on software processing. But Leif is a smart guy, he sold us a 0.9000000000 version, not a full 1.0 so he doesn't have to upgrade it by law. So we are tricked. Thanks Leif 😉

On another forum i discovered some photo’s of another breakaway version, and since i was at the IBC last September i tried to have a chat with Leif himself about this.So what became clear to me after the chat we had…
1. Leif has no obligations to Omnia in terms of software licences.
2. Leif has ideas to update breakaway, but there are some other priorities regarding another hardware omnia box.
3. The future hardware box is an lika an Omnia .9 but less control, and possible somewhat less loudness. (but much cheaper)
4. There is a possibility breakaway will get an update Leif quote "yes, i definitely thinking about an BBP update with more control" unquoteSo lets wait and see when Leif is willing to give us what were all been waiting for….

@ radio. it’s not mistake to have DeClipepr from StereoTool at all!!. Default settings should be good. BBP loads plugins before AGC, so ideal place for DeClipper.

You best stick with the asio4all drivers, Marian is lacking to make decent drivers for vista/ win7, for the 64bit version there are still no drivers available. How about that?

GuntherJesse is so right, use edcast instead the construction you are dealing with.
With the right encoders you can setup multiple steady streams as well.

Hi,
it will be running on a 32bit Win XP Pro 🙂 the other (64bit) workstations are doing other tasks for the moment.
They are equiped with M-audio interfaces that works fine for now.BTW totally off topic your Advancast transmitter is still doing his job 24/24/7 @ 30w on 1 tuned dipole 🙂
@Jesse, Motu has 64bit drivers for win7 but are crap drivers, so it’s not only an issue from Marian, other brands seems to have problems to write good drivers except M-audio and ESI. Strange 😕
