I have been trying I am sure for over a year to figure out how to get OTSAv to work with Breakaway Broadcast (not an exaggeration). I had been hesitant to post and was recommended at the OTS Forum to post here, and I really want to get this to work. I have gotten this far with these results:
OtsAV "On-Air" Output = Breakaway Pipeline 1 ->
Breakaway Input = Breakaway Pipeline 1 ->
Breakaway Output = Soundcard ->
Windows 7 Sound Device = Soundcard ->
Shoutcast Source Input Device = "Soundcard Input" (Not Winamp)The result is a flat sounding stream which is worse than if I just use the default "Winamp" input device option. I also tried adding the Shoutcast plug in to BBs encoders. This resulted in a second instance of the Shoutcast DSP Source initiating which did not play my OTSAv programming (or anything for that matter). Even if I kill the DSP instance in OTSAv and then initiate the encoder in BB it will not play my OTSAv programming (or anything).
I know there’s a simple explanation. Can someone assist to get these two to peacefully co-exist?
Thanks

and i think more importantly it lets you select which "tip" it’s recording from on the soundcard. that’s probably the problem with recording from the soundcard is you’re not sending the output back into the record side. sometimes edcast can get around that requirement.December 14, 2010 at 1:11 pm #11679kniggetMemberI don’t fully understand what you’re trying to do (the windows sound device threw me) but try this:
OtsAV "On-Air" Output = Breakaway Pipeline 1 ->
Breakaway Input = Breakaway Pipeline 1 ->
Breakaway Output = Breakaway Pipeline 2 ->
Shoutcast Source Input Device = Breakaway Pipeline 2August 10, 2011 at 8:26 pm #11680j0hanMember[quote author=”knigget”]I don’t fully understand what you’re trying to do (the windows sound device threw me) but try this:

But, how ever i cant hear anything from the pc, but if i tune the stream in on my iPhone, i hear my mic, music etc.
So how shall i do to be able to hear it on my pc.

With the right encoders you can setup multiple steady streams as well.
Here you can find a topic for setting up edcast with breakaway.Succes
