Check the graphs. Your exciter is inferior to the BW 1 watt.I would never use your exciter in it’s current form. Not trying to be rude, but your product needs some improvement..I agree with Leif, i didn’t know whether to laugh or cry..

Aareff’s exciter is junk.I’e never seen any exciter perform so badly..The little BW 1 watt is superb and really a steal for it’s performance…

Trace should work ok with win 7 32 BIT not 64!! As i understand they’re working on a 64 bit driver.I just like xp pro and even win 2000 pro..and i love this card!!

You might check in the bios and make sure parity check is disabled.I’m sure you’re not using non-parity ram in a machine that requires parity.Just strange it does it on the trace alpha.I’ve had no issues with mine.sounds like a ram issue.Hope u get it working.

A couple of mods on the Behringer mdx 4000 and 8000 made magic come out of those boxes. The 8000 mod became the Banshee.Great audio at a bargain price.Maybe you could post your clips of the 11.I think most of us have heard the 8600.

hucfinn, where is this one on the air and what station..Of the new offerings the Vorsis Air Aura is the clear winner, brings more to the table and has more sales than either of the other offerings.

True. It’s a crap shoot at best, just like Arbitron ratings.I got credit for one diary from a plant that plays us overhead with 300 employees.Nice and loud, too. So to me that should be 300 diaries.ARB is so full of crap.I think each box should be setup with sample songs.Get the best tweak you can and then compare. I don’t know anyone running impact on an 8500.Way over the top for me.

    Next torture test should be:
    1.Vorsis Air Aura
    2. Orban 8600 in the Play School Box
    3. Omnia 11
    4. What Leif’s new offering (hardware box) will be called.

That would be interesting to hear…
    What cha think?

New unit selling VERY well.Jeff was Foti’s right hand man at Omnia before going to Vorsis. He knows a thing or two about processing.Mike Erickson from CBS FM joins the Vorsis team.Serious high end players need to test drive this box.It is a game changer.
