I would love to see a harder bass clipper on BaOne. With more agressive shaping. and highpass filtering before processing.

i recommend Azarath. it’s builtin in BreakawayOne. It’s kinda “Bottom-End” sound, with huge amount of low-freq processing. But it still retains original music dynamics. And will never sound over the top

Again. Tweak them if it sounds bad for you. 60% of them are made for modern music. with heavily compressed sound. if you want “Hi-Fi” audio. It’s time to move on to Passive Agressor or Reference Settings. these are transparent. Mine ones aren’t for you definitely. And remember. if nothing in breakawayone is good for your ears. then you should try something else, Omnia.9 maybe can help you. The final clipper completely destroys BreakawayOne variant of it. And you will have same processing structure of BaOne. And even BaOne presets are compatible with Omnia.9

If none of my presets are satisfatory to you, check your monitoring equipment. it’s impossible that more than 100+ different audio adjustments you can’t find one that goes closer to what you want. If you want ORBAN sound, you get a Orban Optimod, If you want Omnia.11. You get a Omnia.11, Don’t try to expect other branding assignature on BreakawayOne. you will get BrekawayOne sound.

That’s another thing i need on BreakawayOne too. Including change in Remote connection port. i have two machines with it on same network. and i only could access them using a VPN (Radmin VPN) because the same port could not be set up for 2 IPs.

If you are getting more than 75khz of modulation with voice means your soundcard or your transmitter can’t handle the amount of assymetric peaks. You will need to use Phase Rotation and decrease bass clipping. This will reduce the amount of assymetric peaks on air. You can try StereoTool VST with Phase Rotation activated on stereo tool VST. This can help a lot.

Remember to use the Headphone Amp output to feed your transmitter MPX input. on the transmitters i’ve set up the value is always beteen 0 and 10 (tilt adjustment). To calibrate your transmitter you will need a modulation monitor. set the 400hz test tone and adjust until it shows 100% of modulation / 75khz carrier index. Then try the Square Wave test tone. if modulation go over 100% with this, you will need to do more adjustments. First put the sine wave test tone and go put 30hz. withe the PEQ you will need to make the frequency response the same from 30hz to 100hz. then do the square wave calibration another time and play with the Tilt compensation slider until you get 100% of modulation again. If you have a oscilloscope connected to the MPX Output of the modulation monitor it will be extremely easy to calibrate.

Remember you can adjust the pilot using the PEQ adjustment. go to the MPX Output section and activate the PEQ. Set the frequency value to 19000hz (or the most close to it) and set Q to 0.1 (or the most lowest value) and then you can adjust the pilot to any level you desire. negative or positive.

This preset is not updated anymore and sounds like shit. Here’s my archive of AMX presets. there’s a lot of different signatures.

You can get Expert Mode working in BreakawayOne. of course only on Illegay ways. BaOne is meant originally to work only with Basic Mode.

I have some preset that can give you smooth sound, i don’t know if it’s exactly what you want but it can get close to 80’s processing. It’s not veeery dense like optimod 8100 because BaOne have way more cleaner clipper.
