Hi,
Try the following…
Check that Airomate is set to output on Pipeline 3, check that pipeline 3 is set to 44-192khz at 16-24 bit in the pipeline config, check the samplerate in the BBP I/O setup is set to 192khz and also if using windows 7 (not recommended) then make sure the pipeline is configured to work at 192khz.yorkie98ParticipantPersonally, I would never completely bypass the processing even if you are bringing in a processed source during this time as you could never be sure that there are no overshoots or that the audio is being sent to the transmitter at the right level.
Assuming that your BBP computer is connected to your transmitter, instead of bypassing, select the 6dB Protection Clip preset. This basically removes processing but sets the audio to an appropriate level and passes it through the final clippers which still gives you the final layer of overshoot protection, which is one of the most beneficial features of BBP.yorkie98ParticipantFor the latest presets (ie Eruption) ensure you download the latest version from the sticky at the top of this forum.
The versions downloaded from the main site are quite old now and do not contain some of the newer features which have been recently developed, including many new presets.Hope this helps,

yorkie98ParticipantYou will be able to use your registration key a second time when you change machine BUT, this is only allowed once, and it must not be used if the other machine still has Breakaway registered and running. This is basically a courtesy, one off machine upgrade allowance.
Hope this helps,

yorkie98ParticipantThat motherboard is a socket 478, not 775 so the required heatsink will be appropriate for that form factor and not for 775 heatsinks.
This old of a motherboard is also unlikely to be much good for BBP and certainly does not have a 192khz codec onboard.

Try this on the mixer/mic processor if possible as it will eliminate the problem at the source.
Some mics also have a 75hz low cut on them too..yorkie98ParticipantCheck that if you have any pre-emphasis enabled, that you also have the corresponding de-epmphasis enabled for the L/R outputs.
yorkie98ParticipantMaybe download the free resampler app and see if this keeps things in sync (this app may however add a small but consistent delay). Most likely the sync for your video source and the audio are drifting off slightly due to clock speeds in soundcards never quite beeing 100% accurate. This app MIGHT help you compensate for this especially if you can get it to lock to the clock on your ASIO card.

yorkie98ParticipantIf you can source one in NZ, get a Trace Marian Alpha, this is the very best card to use with breakaway, a distant second best would be either and ESI Juli@ or ESI Maya44PCI, the M-audio card often needs a hardware mod to work properly which invalidates your warranty and can be risky. There was a thread about the Asus card some time ago and the conclusions were not great.
Hope this helps,

yorkie98ParticipantFrom a purely listening perspective, I have found the Plutonium preset gives a good cut-to-cut EQ consistensy but also seems to stay as close as possible to the original in cuts that have not been eq’d.
As with most things in the audio realm, it is often down to personal choice and taste and also a bit of trial and error to find the effect you are looking for. Try Plutonium with a low speed (around 20) as a starting point and see how you go.Yorkie.
yorkie98ParticipantBump!!
This topic has gone a little quiet of late..
Are there any news/updates?Yorkie.
yorkie98ParticipantNice job Jesse…LOL
yorkie98ParticipantAm I the only person wondering… in what way is this relevant to the subject matter of this forum??
yorkie98ParticipantI have not yet used a Marian Trace Alpha (hoping to very soon) but I would guess the SPDIF input is assingned to the 1-2A/B inputs in the Trace Alpha config menu.
yorkie98ParticipantI hear the BBC are also trying to filter this noise out to "clean up" the coverage being shown by them here in the UK. Aparrently it’s playing havoc with the audio encoders as although the horns centre around one approximate frequency, the sound from these horns is quite complex and textured and using up loads of the available bitrate on the feeds and broadcasts, resulting in very artifacted sound.
Personally, I’d rather hear these horns than the foul-mouthed rants often heard from the crowds in English football… -
