So, the old version is Breakaway Live and I don't see any way to copy or export a preset. I could, I suppose, install it on my new computer, but I'd then be running it in demo mode. Ideas, anyone?

I never considered that possibility. I'll try it and see what happens.

So, getting a new license was very easy to do. Keith walked me through everything in his reply to my initial e-mail message.

Good things come to those who wait. Breakaway One is amazing. I just hope we can get some details soon about some of the settings. Thinks like Brilliance and Presence seem a bit vague; right now I have them set at 50.

Just to let everyone  know exactly what is going on; I am running Windows 7 64-bit. I ran the program to uninstall the Breakaway pipeline so that the new one could be installed. When the new one wouldn't install that left me with the old version not being able to open. So I did a system restore. I then attempted to install the new version without removing the old version of the pipeline with no change in the results.

And this makes four of us. I'm not upset if the new version is just to fix compatibility issues as the now-previous version is running fine on my system. But if there are new features or new presets in the new, current version, I'd like to see this issue resolved if possible. I've been resisting the free upgrade to Windows 10 but if that's the only way to get an improved version, I'd take the upgrade gladly.

If anyone out there doesn't know already, the site is back up. We're still missing a lot of people but all the old posts have been restored.

Well, now I feel foolish. I just found a post from 2008 in which Leif recommends against this. We now return you to your normally scheduled browsing.

Sigh. I was a member there for several years. I miss the site a lot.

Problem solved. Someone at the Radio-Discussions board suggested that maybe the Breakaway drivers were disabled.
They were and now they’re not. So glad to have this software up and running again.

It’s me again. I reformatted my computer last night for a few reasons, being able to run Breakaway again being one of them. But when attempting to install, I get an "Error" 0x80700002 opening Breakaway Pipeline" message saying that the pipeline must be installed. I’ve disabled UAC and tried to run as administrator, to no avail. Suggestions, anyone?

Well, that did it. Enhancer is up and running! Again, many thanks.

Yes, I’m running 64-bit Windows, Windows 7 Premium Home version. I’m crossing my fingers this can be figured out
somehow, and I do thank you for your help.

I tried both disabling UAC and running as administrator and the latter informed me that
"this version of windows can not install an unsigned driver". Sigh.
