MemberFirst of all, it was never my intention to insult Leif.
If i did, for some people, my apologees.
I have many respect for you, Leif and for anybody on this forum.(I do have humor issues sometimes, excuse me for that.)
Second, the thread also talks about why Leif isn’t anymore on this forum.
If he is too busy with other projects i can understand. My last question in this ‘status upgrade’ thread goes about the plans for 2012.
I’m a passionate Breakaway user, and i’m curiuous about the future thats all…….Dj Buik
MemberRun this app to determine what is happening
http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml
Like Radio Oude Stijl says, this could be a hardware (cooling?) failure.

MemberAlso identical Bios, firmware and driver versions?

MemberThere is not much info on the website, but what i understand it is a kind of soundcard.
Correct me if i’m wrong. If it installs a soundcard, you can select this soundcard as your output device in Breakaway.
Edit: I’ve found the install guide. It does install as a soundcard (Music Stream II).

Member
Automation –> Soundcard Stereo Output #1 –> Mixer+Mic –> Soundcard Stereo Input –> Breakaway –> Soundcard Stereo Output #2
or in your case:
Radio Automation => input of Xonar
output Xonar => hardware mixer line input (physical cable)
microphone => hardware mixer mic input (physical cable)main out hardware mixer => line in Xfi (= Breakaway in) (physical cable)
line out Xfi (= Breakaway out) => studio amplifier & speakers (physical cable)So Breakaway uses only the Xfi soundcard
In Breakaway you setup your internet stream.Dj Buik
MemberYou do not need to install any Virtual Audio Cable seperate.
Breakaway has it build in.
Dj Buik
MemberYour VAC (Virtual Audio Cable) if screwed.
Better uninstall Breakaway first, and do an install again.
Dj Buik
MemberDo you run bbp after your hardware audio mixer?
Dj Buik
MemberForget the ask, what version Breakaway Audio Enhancer are you trying to install?
v1.30.02 RC is the latest. Also try to use another interface: Wave or DS instead of the default KS.
Dj Buik
MemberLOL,
