Dj BuikMemberPost some screenshots with your Windows sound settings (playback & recording) & Breakaway settings.
Maybe you configured something wrong.
I have breakaway running on two windows 7 x86 machines with no problems.
Dj BuikMemberDid you installed breakaway as administrator?
Right click on: breakaway_setup_1.30.02_rc.exe
and select ‘Run as administrator’.Dj BuikMemberUse this product for OTSAV:

Second you need to use a soundcard who is capable to support ASIO drivers.
Dj BuikMemberI think you need the Broadcast version:
This is from the main website:
quote :With its state of the art multiband processing and back-end peak control, Breakaway Broadcast Processor is the ideal choice for:
•FM Radio – Loudness, punch, clarity, and legal!
•Web Radio – Unbelievably full, clean and powerful sound.
•HD Radio – Make the most of the limited bit-rate.
•DAB Radio – Breakaway FM works extremely well with both MP2 and aacPlus.
•AM Radio – Tight filtering and asymmetrical clipping.Dj BuikMemberLeif is writing (compiling) his products specialy for the Intel processors.
(Leif can technically explain why). That don’t mean they wil not run on AMD processors too.
The latest version have support for Windows 7, 32 & 64 bit:

http://www.thesycon.de/eng/latency_check.shtmlDj BuikMemberWell i’m following this thread from the beginning, but i’m lost here.
Can someone explain this whole thing in simple english please?
You’ve got here an ‘digital’ FM transmitter, but my good old (Sony) FM receiver is still analog…
What’s the advantage of this?
Thanks in advance for explaining.
Dj BuikMemberexcuse my ignorance, but NAB stands for National Association of Broadcasters?

Dj BuikMemberGot a question.
You uploaded a few ‘samples’ where you demonstrate a new Breakaway preset.
I got Breakaway Audio Enhancer v1.30.02 installed on my machine (ofcourse 🙂 ).How do i set my current Breakaway?
Must i use the bypass button or use the reference setting or something else.
I mean, if i use Breakaway the sound is processed two times.Dj BuikMemberquote :There. This should bring user-friendliness up a few notches I hope? This is much clearer for ‘dummies’ like us Leif.
Dj BuikMemberYES, Leif is back on the grid
Welcome back! What happened?
Holliday, business trip?Dj BuikMemberSet the Buffer Size at 96, and buffers at 2.
Uncheck ‘Audio Realtime Priority’.Run a full virus scan in the background.
Do this on a Pentium 1.There you have your vinyl preset with all cracks and ticks in the audio.
😆 😉
