I am using Breakaway Audio Enhancer v1.30.02 on a computer AMD Sempron 3000+, 1.5 GB memory, MS Windows XP Pro for running internet radio. Listeners are experiencing glitches when listening. I tried several presets and settings, no succes.

Is the CPU the problem? When I upgrade to a new Intel based computer running on Windows 7, is Breakaway Audio Enhancer supported on windows 7 yet?

Leif is writing (compiling) his products specialy for the Intel processors.
    (Leif can technically explain why).

That don’t mean they wil not run on AMD processors too.

The latest version have support for Windows 7, 32 & 64 bit:

Check with this program your audio latency (DPC Latency Checker):

Thank you, DJ Buik. I also understand, reading the forum, that Breakaway Live is more suitable for running internetradio, rather than Audio Enhancer?

I think you need the Broadcast version:

This is from the main website:

    quote :

With its state of the art multiband processing and back-end peak control, Breakaway Broadcast Processor is the ideal choice for:
•FM Radio – Loudness, punch, clarity, and legal!
•Web Radio – Unbelievably full, clean and powerful sound.
•HD Radio – Make the most of the limited bit-rate.
•DAB Radio – Breakaway FM works extremely well with both MP2 and aacPlus.
•AM Radio – Tight filtering and asymmetrical clipping.
