One more suggestion would be SRS like hardware audio processing to bypass any software hurdles making it compatible with whatever system ones feels like something with 3.5mm jack input, with a IPS display and on the other side a simple 3.5mm audio jack.
Though this system would be battery hungry for mobile devices but suitable for bluetooth speakers and other audio devices with external speakers.

Wow! That's a great idea. Why didn't I think of that this whole time. A Breakaway hardware device would be pretty awesome. Like you said, it would solve all the platform problems because we can use it with whatever device that has a 3.5mm output. I would definitely buy one (If they ever decided to make one 😉InfinitelyCrazyMemberI think BAE is not updated in a while because the developers are too busy working on other things.
Or BAE doesn't have any bug or, It's working perfectly on all the Windows versions from XP and up.
By the way, I saw somewhere that the Breakaway developers are going to release a new version for Windows pretty soon, can't remember where I saw that.It would be awesome to see even a Beta or an Alpha version of BAE on Android..
Guess that won't happen in near future.. 🙁InfinitelyCrazyMemberYup. Android OS itself doesn't have a great audio standard like Windows desktop.
But, custom roms like Cyanogenmod kind'a does. And everyone doesn't use them.
So there's a problem..
Can someone suggest the Android guys to develop some better audio standard for their next versions of Android?InfinitelyCrazyMemberYeah. Breakaway Audio Enhancer is the best audio enhancer EVER.
So glad to hear that the developers are working on the update 🙂
Just make sure it is compatible with the upcoming windows 10. That would be awesome
Thanx..InfinitelyCrazyMemberOn what roms they don't work?
Make sure you installed the latest version of "busybox" before installing apps.aaaaand, It doesn' matter if those apps doesn't work on some two or three roms, because
Breakaway audio enhancer for windows is also not working on few PCs. So it's not a reason to stop making Breakaway for Android…check these out.

http://www.forumclaessonedwards.com/forum/index.php/topic,4896.0.htmlInfinitelyCrazyMemberSTOP bitching about mobile CPUs and batteries and 99.999% stock rom users.
There is NOTHING wrong with android. In case you don't know, there's already a plenty of system-wide audio processors for android and they work on any (stock or custom/Android 2.x-5.0) rom.
For example: Viper4Android FX, DSP Manager.
And I have used them in my STOCK ROM (Sony Xperia V LT25i) for about a year now. I can't even notice the battery life reduction, even at the highest quality. They only use a fraction of the CPU. So, If you don't have enough brains to make Breakaway Audio Enhancer for android, then say it and stop complaining others.By the way, I'm not a hater or a racist. I really like your products and I respect the developers for their effort. I just can't stand your misleading complains.
Heres the links to the products mentioned above. Just install them and see for yourself…

All the video formats cannot be decoded by the GPU. And you want to keep your hardware unchanged.
So, did u try the KMPlayer? It decodes videos using internal codecs (Which uses the cpu)This player is not a cpu heavy player. It only uses a fraction of your cpu for HD playback.
Also try using the VLC media player.
Don't use K-Lite codec pack. It's a heavy CPU drainer.InfinitelyCrazyMemberMaking a systemwide audio processor is not a problem anymore…!
I'm currently using a systemwide audio processor called "Viper4Android FX"
This app is currently the best audio processor for android, it works on Android 2.x – 5.0 Lollipop. However your rom must be rooted and should install the latest "Busybox" for this app to work.
Viper4Android gives you 3 types of drivers to choose from,
Super audio quality (I have this installed, and no noticeable battery drain)
High audio quality, and Power saver. Here's the official XDA thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223I think they made it systemwide by using the "Driver". I'm not an android developer, so don't know much about how they did it.
But, I don't think it's so hard. Here's the links to the reviews of Viper4Android.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQavUOzRV6ESo, any hope on BAE for android?
InfinitelyCrazyMember"Random Values" or the settings you set when you uninstalled it?
Close breakaway from system tray and then try running it as administrator.InfinitelyCrazyMemberDoes it happen to all the videos or just the HD videos?
Atom is not a good cpu for HD playback, I think,,
if it happens only to HD videos, then it's not an issue with Breakaway Audio Enhancer.
Try using a lightweight media player for HD playback, such as "The KMPlayer"Here's the link : http://www.kmplayer.com
InfinitelyCrazyMemberoh yeah brother. Been waiting a lifetime for the android version of BAE. 😮
InfinitelyCrazyMemberFinally, a reply!!!
Hey, I really need to know when is it coming for ANDROID.
Can't wait.InfinitelyCrazyMemberWhere are the developers??
Don't even care about the people who buy your products?
Can't even leave a reply???
You guys suck 🙁InfinitelyCrazyMemberOh, my bad. I get it now. You want the sounds to be less compressed. You want more dynamics, right?
In that case Breakaway will do a good job with a file that has a lower volume or a good dynamic range.
You can adjust how much dynamic range you want with Breakaway Audio Enhancer. Use the following 2 controls."Range" and "Power"
Descriptions:
Range
Compression Range
Adjust how much Breakaway is allowed to turn up the volume of a quiet track.
Too low means the track may stay quiet.
Too high means the sounds with a low volume will be amplified.
But also, background noise will be amplified if you set this to a too high level. (Only if there's any background noise)
You can adjust the levels from 0 to 100.Power
Compression ratio
Turn it up to completely eliminate any level and spectral differences.
Turn it down to retain more dynamics and original spectral balance.
You can adjust the levels from 0 to 100.But anyway if the sound file has already been compressed too much or if it doesn't have a good dynamic range, Breakaway cannot help.
InfinitelyCrazyMemberIt looks like you haven't understand the logic behind Breakaway Audio Enhancer. It doesn't matter if the audio you are playing is too loud or too quiet. Breakaway will process it to a normal level. Read this page and maybe you will understand what really happens.
http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=57&Itemid=1028
It says "Automatically adjusts volume dynamics and spectral balancing"
That means too loud sounds will be reduced to a normal level and too quiet sounds will gain its volume back up to a normal level. -
