Question is,
Does Leif wants to make such STL software?BokiMemberCamclone,
Do you think this ?MikroTik (dfs)
NS5 (dfs)
😀 This has nothing to do with "radars"
Set Two NS5s (if you wish with external antennas) and all will be good 😉
BokiMember
5 GHz STL over IP ? ,,,Wifi.,,, ? no no no no no…. at my RF mountain…we have one MILITARY RADAR… and everytime i open a wi-fi 5 GHz link …Boooooooooooooom 🙂
What "booooooom:" mean ?
What if there is radar (any radar) ? 5GHz iz non-licensed band, afaik in every part od world. My link works great almost 3 years with in first time RB133c, and now NS5 with external dish antennas. with audio latency under 100ms. 6.5km.
BokiMemberHi George,
Why only Optical?
What about Digital coaxial output with Juli@? Can you try that?BokiMemberReally nice Video !
I must agree with Leif about modulation/deviation setting.
How about letting the user choose what dB input level will equal 75 kHz deviation, and leave it at that?
BokiMemberBokiMemberWill someone "bench" this thing 🙂
Stelios, can you make some records in MpxTool from transmitter? Any test is welcome now.
BokiMember
Sorry guys for being persistent asking again and again this, but, what do you think about the "Audio adjustment" vs "Modulation adjustment" concept?
hello Stelios,
I think all here is interest for Digital MPX input (coaxial/optical).
For inexperienced users your "modulation adjustment" is better. They don’t need special equipment to measure what actually comes from the antenna. But my vote is "Audio Adjustment"
BokiMemberToo many talk ..
Nothing is better then XP32bit. Not only for breakaway! That Juli@ driver is very new and others have some problems with Win7 64bit too.
Juli@ Driver for XP32bit is proven as stable!
dam’, why people loves how "things" looks, and don’t care how that same "things" works.
BokiMember@ bofh
I am really interset to see how would you do that with BreakawayASIO !?
You Can NOT set one asio soundcard as BA input (in this case Axia Asio) and another asio soundcard (eg. Juli@) as BA Output. You CAN do that in BBP. But… no more LowLatency (asio).
BokiMemberlol i have two of this Coders.. i’m not use it anymore… put it on MpxTool and you’ll see why.
i found that CFD200 cable (used for WiFi Antennas) is very good for mpx cable. 50ohm and good capacitance.
You can find it everywhere and it’s chep.BokiMember
what is the impedance of the transmitter’s exciter input, and what voltage does it want for 100% modulation? that’s what’s important in this case.
So, impedance of Transmitter input and not Impedance of cable. i gues you used same cable for hardware coder and Soundcard output when you do your tests.
Better transmitters have Impedance switch, so you can choose fbetween, let’s say, 600ohm and 10Kohm, or 100ohm and 5Kohm
10k is good when you attach Juli@ soundcard, because output from that card is 10k (minimum).BokiMemberWhy spread mpx? it’s easyer to spread L/R then on every transmitter you have one BBP.
On what cable you mean ?
BokiMembersave time..
Juli@ or Marian Trace Alpha.
BokiMemberCamclone ..
Don’t get me wrong but your stream is unnecessary Loud which leads to very overclipped, overcompressed, overpumped.. sound.
Highs are so messed that some letters "S" are "SH", Bass clipping is over the roof and overall sound is to much compressed..I know this type of music, because similar is on our main station, and i know it’s little problematic for compressing, but this can be much better.
