    I don’t fully understand what you’re trying to do (the windows sound device threw me) but try this:

    OtsAV "On-Air" Output = Breakaway Pipeline 1 ->
    Breakaway Input = Breakaway Pipeline 1 ->
    Breakaway Output = Breakaway Pipeline 2 ->
    Shoutcast Source Input Device = Breakaway Pipeline 2

    Where are people getting their codecs from?

    I think a sticky for ‘get your codecs here’ would be a great idea also :mrgreen:

    Try Bass shape +30, then play with the bass volume to suit your final drive (if you have your final drive up quite high, theres not much room for more bass)

    Hi there,

    I too have adapted my tuner for this purpose so shall attempt an answer…

    Firstly, get a service manual for your tuner – you will then be able to see what ICs do what
    or
    Take the lid off, write down the IC part numbers and start googling them.

    Ideally, probe the test point labelled MPX-VCO using a scope with sufficient bandwidth and FFT display – that will show you what’s what.

    As for a buffer amp, it may not be required. Currently I have the tuner running straight into E-MU 0202 with no buffer amp – I’m just using the gain controls on the E-MU (roughly @ 10oclock).

    I would like to experiment with MP2 – where would I find the codec?

    I interpreted the first post as ‘cos Breakaway increases the volume of everything, my crossfades sound almost non existant".

    I got around this by lowering the Power fader in Breakaway (the difference between loud and quiet).

    Where is the 15khz filter applied (providing of course that you have set it to 15khz)? If BBP is set to output @0db, how sure can we be that between BBP and the line output, noise and crap above 15khz isn’t being added?

    Hi Adam,

    I would like to use BBP to process the audio for an internet stream. I’ve had Breakaway Live running but would prefer to take advantage of the extras found with BBP .
