    Today I receive my new Tivoli Model One fm tuner!

    I’m very happy! The sound with the speaker is fantastic!

    Now I need the schematic for MPX output! jejejeje

    Please Leif ! ! ! !

    PD: I receive the same model as you, tuner have stereo output for headphones….

    Here's the schematic for a wide bandwidth Buffer Amplifier (suitable for MPX):

    I don’t have any knows about Electronic circuits, but I have a friend with this knows.

    I send to my friend the schematic…

    But… I don’t see the decoder chip of Tivoli Model One in this schematic… Or is the "PIN1", "PIN2" and "PIN3"?

    And other… ¿The PIN2 (9V MIC BIAS) it’s not necessary? I say this because it has a cross.

    Hi Didac!

    Indeed — don’t connect the mic bias. We don’t want that. 🙂

    I have now taken my Model One apart to figure out how the modification was done.

    Here’s the spec sheet for the FM decoder chip in the Model One: TEA5711T (by Philips).

    The pins of interest are:

    Pin 22 – Common Ground (both MPX and Power)
    Pin 25 – Power Supply (connect to where it says 9v battery on the amp schematic)
    Pin 28 – AFo — this is the MPX output. Connect to PIN3 in the amp schematic.

    Here’s what my amp looks like:

    Here’s where it’s connected to the TEA5711T chip inside the Tivoli Model One:

    Why 2 seperate IC’s when you could use 1 ?

    Leif told me the reason a few months ago, but now I don’t remember the reason.

    But no problem, use only one integrated. Is enough for amplify the MPX signal.
