I’m pretty sure it’s the mastering of the song. I’ve noticed it too, but on a standard non-processed system.
Dr.JMemberWe are patient, as we realize it’s only one person developing this software. I thank YOU for being so thorough and sousing out the odd error here and there, it’s definitely a full time job plus some. Keep up the fantastic work, you always surprise us with your latest and greatest inventions.
Dr.JMemberThere’s some info here… (http://www.claessonedwards.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=247) regarding webcasting.
Dr.JMemberThanks Leif, you always have the coolest creations (like the RTA program). Two thumbs up.

quote :Now for karaoke, you’d need to do some mic processing!Indeed — and I am 🙂. Three breakaway cores. One for music, one for mic 1, one for mic 2, and nothing on the mixdown! (tried it — didn’t sound good).
Not BBP though, it’s a special Breakaway development build I call AsioKaraoke (not very imaginative).
[/quote]That’s exactly the processing I’m looking for (except maybe an additional processor for another music channel). Do you have any plans to release a version of Breakaway that will do this, or would you be able to implement something like this into Breakaway Live?
Dr.JMemberThat’s so cool.
Dr.JMemberWith the upcoming version of Breakaway Live, you’re starting to infringe into the world of DBX DriveRacks. If the newest version pans out, I would consider a fair value at around $2,000 per unit. This would undercut the closest competitor but still provide a great value to those running multi-speaker systems. I would also look at a computer controlled processor, eliminating all but the basic front panel controls.
Dr.JMemberLooks amazing!
What kind of CPU usage can we expect compared to the current Breakaway Live?
Can this replace units like the DBX Driverack 4800?Thx, G.
Dr.JMemberMy recommendation would be WinXP SP2 (SP3 doesn’t add anything beneficial, just bloat). Just my thoughts.
Dr.JMemberUse Total Recorder… http://www.highcriteria.com/
It will record your program to whatever format you’d like…Dr.JMemberI’ve used… http://www.highcriteria.com/ when I want to record the output of OtsAV directly. This is in real-time so you must sit through the playback of what you’d like to record, but it sounds pretty good to me.
Dr.JMemberCan we just categorize this post a spam? I really have no interest in listening to this "overly processed" Greek music station for "at least" 10 minutes. Just listen to the professionals, and adjust the station accordingly!!!
Dr.JMemberWOW! So much for so little (processing for $). You’ve done a great job of making our job’s easier. Thank you, now and forever…
Dr.JMemberThanks for the info JesseG. I’ll have to look into their cards and see what will fit my plans.
Dr.JMemberThanks for the reply JesseG. Does that mean that RME currently supports multiple programs via ASIO or is that something they are working on in the future?
