Try "Reference Classical" first, then adjust the "Power" anywhere from "50" down to "0" to see if it suits your needs.
Dr.JMemberHere’s a previous post that goes quite in-depth on the bass shape and frequencies…
http://www.claessonedwards.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=329&p=1923&hilit=multiband+threshold#p1923Dr.JMemberI’m pretty sure you use the Audio Resampler available in this post… http://www.ceaudio.com/beta/AudioResampler.zip. I haven’t done it myself, but I’m pretty sure you make multiple folders – AudioSampler1 and AudioSampler2 – then set the correct input/outputs.
Dr.JMemberThanks for the info Jesse. I’ve edited my post above because I mistakenly mixed up my driver problems with my Echo Audio soundcards with my innocent M-Audio soundcards. My bad, but thanks for again for the info.
Dr.JMemberI don’t think upgrading the processor or RAM will make any difference. For example, I had an M-Audio soundcard (*see edit below) that wouldn’t work with ASIO and OtsAV – crackles when opening search window, etc. – and this was on a quad core with 4 GB of RAM. It was a driver issue that is still unresolved – no updated drivers are available.
*Edited ’cause I made an error. It was my Echo Audio soundcards (Mia, MiaMidi & Mona) that were having problems. The M-Audio soundcards (AudioPhile 24/96 & Fast Track Pro) I’ve used have worked flawlessly. My bad!
Dr.JMemberSounds like a driver issue with directwire from ESI. See if they have any updated drivers or a possible solution to your problem.
Dr.JMemberTry calibrating your output within OtsAV first to see if it helps…
http://docs.otslabs.com/OtsAV/help/using_otsav/audio_output_features/how_to_calibrate_your_soundcard.htmDr.JMemberThe problem has been acknowledged in this post (http://www.claessonedwards.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1024) and will hopefully be fixed in the near future.
Dr.JMemberMaybe some screen shots of Windows audio settings, OtsDJ output window, Breakaway input window, Breakaway output window and anything else directly relevant would certainly help. I’m sure you can appreciate that it’s quite hard to trouble shoot a system we have no first hand experience with, so the more information the better.
Dr.JMemberThanks for sharing your success story. Hopefully it helps others embarking on the same path.
Dr.JMemberSorry, but I prefer it the way it is. For the very seldom times I need to look at the toolbar, I want it to give me all the information I need at that point in time.
Dr.JMember
I followed this ‘manual’ so I’ve also installed VS2005 SP1.
Edcast is currently installed in a subdirectory I called Plugins within the Breakaway Live directory.
Looks like you missed this installation instruction from the very first post…
Do not add "plugins" or anything else — it needs to be Breakaway’s own folder, not a sub-folder.
This means you must install edcast directly into the Breakaway Live folder, don’t use any subfolders like the "Plugins" folder you created.
Dr.JMemberSo what happens when you choose to output directly from OtsAV to the Bose T1? Does it work correctly?
Dr.JMemberMore information is required. Are you going from the DJ playback software to Breakaway DJ then Bose T1? This is the correct pathway, but have you made sure the paths are correctly chosen and compatible? Please list your current settings and we’ll see if we can help.
July 14, 2010 at 10:16 am in reply to: Audio stuttering using Breakaway Live with Station Playlist #11070Dr.JMemberI would enable SRC to see if it helps. I highly doubt it will hurt.
