BBK I/O setup

@mcbreeza: please dont copy the tilt, its only valid for my setup and it was set with a scope. The transition slope is the default value (I think). See the "transition width" its 0, then the transition slope value doesnt matter. If you see carefully, its in mono (no stereo) because its a "talk & news" station, 95% its talk (mono), broadcasting mono = better reception 😉 .The -3.20 dB MPX level its only a fine mod tunning to keep exactly 100% read in the mod meter.
ok cheers mate 🙂

our transmittor is mono too.. what settings I need fiddle makesure brekaway pumps it in mono
For mono, only leave unchecked the "stereo" setting, like in the picture, and then check the mod levels, when I switch to mono the mod levels up a few dB in my exiter.
About mono transmitter, every transmitter are mono, you can encode to stereo with BBP 😉 and a 192 khz capable sound card.

See this viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1026&p=7272&hilit=esi+juli%40+tilt#p7272 . Leif said that the tilt for esi juli@ its 7.
I’ve that issue with Stool but in only in some car radio, I think its a fault with the car radio. Some hardware RDS cause the same fault in the same cars.

yeah! Its possible to use stereo tool generating RDS only and sending to BBP. In my setup I’ve disabled all the audio processing in ST for low de CPU usage, only leave de RDS features and send de RDS signal to RDS in in BBP. Its works fine, I can upload pictures with the setup if you wants.

try this presets:

Twente
Plutonium (final limiter to +1.0, bass cut -10)

SB Audigy SE its a 96khz only sound card, then no RDS and bad stereo quality in FM mode. Maybe your realtek card will be 192khz, you can use the realtek input too with good results, the realtek have better tonal balance. Keep away from SB for radio 😀 😀 .
By the way, what are the tilt for your realtek card?

Id try the christmas settings:
Sounds nice for streaming, maybe too much highs, but in FM doesn’t sound so good for my taste, maybe with more bass (bass cut:-10) and final drive to +2.0 will sound better.
Anyone have more special settings for chritsmas but for FM?
