Yes, and it appears that the View Unread Posts functionality is gone, too. I used that button every time I visited this forum. (Actually, I use it on EVERY forum.)
Bryan DurioMemberNow THAT sounds like an Ots Labs-ish answer!! 😉
Bryan DurioMemberI prefer the Magnifying Glass preset with only the Range turned down to 30, myself.
Bryan DurioMemberI’ll chime in, too…
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year filled with family, friends, good times, and prosperity!
And Leif, keep on keeping on with your most excellent programming skills!

Bryan DurioMemberMilky: I’ve always disabled the System Restore function because of its unreliability, so that’s not an option for me.
Jesse: I found the Virtual Audio Cable device and disabled it.
Thanks for your help!
Bryan DurioMemberI guess not. I second your question, though. I’ve been caught behind the curve. It would be nice to get a notification of new betas/updates/versions, instead of depending on the off-chance that I stumble upon it here. So far I’ve only come to these forums on an inconsistent basis. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. I should check in regularly but unfortunately, I can’t.

Bryan DurioMemberLeif, what happened to my beloved Magnifying Glass preset?? * sniff *
For the record, I’m checking out the v0.90.04 alpha version, and it uninstalled BAE 1.20.26. Haven’t gotten it to do ASIO yet.
Bryan DurioMemberLeif, you hit it on the head! I didn’t know that when the volume control is all the way down, it goes into MUTE mode. Crisis averted. Ya learn something new every day.
The reason I haven’t kept up with the releases is that I hadn’t checked in for the past few months to keep up with Leif’s development magic. I just installed 1.20.26 because I thought that was the latest version. I need to pop in here more regularly. 😉
Bryan DurioMemberWell, I decided to completely uninstall BAE with Revo Uninstaller and reinstall it. That fixed the problem. It’s weird, though, that it happened in the first place. Any clues, Leif?
Bryan DurioMemberFor my taste, the Magnifying Glass preset is the most natural-sounding of them all. But hey, I’m looking for detail and accuracy. I don’t like harsh.
Bryan DurioMemberHmmm… I downloaded Breakaway Live yesterday and installed it, but no matter what I did I could not get rid of snaps, crackles, and pops, so I uninstalled it and went back to BAE. Maybe I gave up too quickly. But all I want to do is send Breakaway’s output to a file. Seems like that would be a much easier thing to do than to send it to a sound card, but maybe I’m mistaken.
Bryan DurioMemberHey Leif,
I have wanted this functionality ever since I became aware of Breakaway. If you recall, I’ve been in need of recording sound processed by BAE but have not been able to do it so far. I’m another dreaded OtsAV fanatic. You suggested last year that I record my sound card’s output with Audacity by using the "What U Hear" driver, but my sound card’s drivers (Waveterminal 192L) don’t give me that option. I’m operating under Win XP Pro. So now you’re saying that I can do what I’d like (capture Breakaway’s signal processing) with Breakaway Live, right?
I know I should probably update my sound card…after all, the 192L is from 2003. But breaking down and buying Breakaway Live would be a solution too, right?
