As with all things technical, I enjoy the end results without having any idea how it works 🙂
Anyone else help?
Yes, it does magically work! Thanks very much Leif and JesseG. The weird thing is that in order to work, the line in connection in the SB Mixer has to be muted and that was the bit I didn’t get yesterday! 😮 . Still mine is not to reason why, it magically works and that’s all that matters!
Thanks again both 8)
Thanks very much Leif and JesseG. I’ll give that a go. 8)
Gotcha.
Thanks for the explanation Leif 🙂
Hi Leif
How does reducing the Range Control to keep fadeouts compare with use of the pipeline config program you uploaded so that Demodave could retain the fade outs on his karaoke program? Which method is preferable?
Excellent! 8)
Just an update. OtsAV DJ running with Breakaway 1.20.08 for last 4 days at at least 10 hours per day and sounding perfect.
This really is an excellent product Leif! 8)
I prefer Breakaway Broadcaster (rather than Broadcast). More of a (non audio 😆) ring to it. Breakaway Live is an excellent name too.
Leif, OtsAv is ASIO driver compatible, so I would be very interested in seeing Breakaway ASIO. That is bound to be cool 8)
Helix does it for me 8)
Heavy, hard and soft rock sound so clean on this preset 😀
I was thinking that myself Buik. Major coding under way. I have been checking in daily waiting for the final version to be released. Alas, not yet. Will have to be patient a little while longer 🙂
By George I think you’ve cracked it!
OtsAV DJ on play for 10 hours yesterday and today and not so much as wobble let alone a 2 second cut out.
Yes, I think the problem has been fixed! Thanks Leif.
Hey Leif
I want to test this on OtsAV. Is this version a final or a beta version though?
Thanks
A day to change into the brown trousers! 😯
Thanks JesseG.
That’s the thing. OtsAV is stable (exceptionally so) and has been running for some 16 hours non stop today on an audio dedicated Toshiba Qosmio G30 without Breakaway and not so much as the threat of a stutter or skip. That’s how it’s been for years. As I said in my original post, I’ve not noticed this before when running Ots.
Thanks anyway.
Paul
Thanks JesseG but no change I’m afraid.
Thanks
Paul
