Sorry but it doesn’t work !!!
What doesn’t work? Please explain.
Installing "Live Version" even corrupt Windows registry.
Please explain this too.
The Breakaway Pipelines continue to be an option even when I unistalled Breakaway.
You can remove it by going to your "Device Manager" then selecting "Breakaway Pipeline" and clicking "Disable" or "Uninstall".June 14, 2011 at 6:14 am in reply to: Possibility to completely disable Breakaway Pipeline volume? #5382JesseGMemberIt could be an option to disable in a future version, I don’t see why not. It isn’t possible to disable it right now, that I know of.
JesseGMemberYes, "Home Theater" version is coming which will offer things specific to make 5.1 even more awesome (namely UPMAX). Until then, you have 2 channels.
JesseGMemberThis inspired me to upload StereoStocker and a few other "Oldschool" downloads from Leif.
Check out StereoStocker here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1969
JesseGMemberAnd… I just switched the site’s captcha to reCAPTCHA. We’ll see how well it does on spam. The new default captcha was actually worse than the one we had setup before.
JesseGMemberCorrect, the red part of the output meter of BBP that is above the normal multi-colored peak meter… is *exactly* how much total clipping is happening.
JesseGMemberPMs re-enabled for now. I’ll PM Keith (who just did a bunch of board updates/changes) and find out why he disabled them. Archive any important info you have in there anyways though. 8)
In other news, Search function is enabled again.

He wasn’t asking about LiveLink, he was asking about running ASIO on more than one client at a time.My next step would have been to ask him what I/O and routing he is trying to do, because we usually have some creative ideas around here as for how to do that. Like…. LiveLink. 🙂
Cheers.
JesseGMemberI think you’re confused, unless you have a second soundcard called "Live" (and I don’t mean Breakaway)
You will only see the soundcards you have installed, like the Juli@. I’m not sure if you can use more than one ASIO application on your Juli@ at a time. As far as I am aware of, RME cards are the only cards (well, drivers) that can actually do more than one ASIO at a time (they support many connections on many interfaces all at once).
JesseGMemberAwww… everyone picks on the fat girl. 😥
JesseGMemberwhile Breakaway Live would work on the audio portion (if you’re not doing 5.1 audio at all), it doesn’t provide any of the other features one normally requires in broadcast television. I highly recommend having a look over the functionality of Linear Acoustic boxes, and having this discussion with them. There is a chance that Breakaway Live could do what you need, but I personally doubt it.

And you’ll be getting Breakaway dynamics processing, but specifically tailored for the needs of DTV, and own a box from the #1 name in DTV audio processing. 8)JesseGMemberSomething is wrong with the handling of the .exe extension right now. I’ve informed Leif of the problem. Thanks.
JesseGMemberI thought I answered this already, it somehow got deleted?
Anyways… RME is great stuff. Which Breakaway version are you going to use with it? The output are not DC straight, so it’s not ideal for FM/AM output. But for any other use it’s great.
JesseGMember
I have Tilt 2 on my dso quad scope.

Ah sweet, you have one of the Quad prototypes. Can we get a few pics of Breakaway output on it? There was a few reasons I didn’t get one of the prototypes, and even though I’m getting one of the "1.0" units when they come out, I’m still jealous. 🙂 I just want a few pics to drool over.JesseGMember

Hi,
I’ve install some dsp plug-ins by the effects settings.
When i use eg. edcast must i install the same dsp plug-ins for the same effects in the encoder settings?Anton
Effects plugins go in the effects section and encoders go in the encoders section. The sound goes through Breakaway, then through the effects then finally through the encoder(s). That’s pretty simplified, but basically that’s it.
Actually, it goes through the effects, then Breakaway, then the encoder (which doesn’t get sent to the soundcard outputs).
