LOL, no worries. 🙂

KeymasterTimmy is absolutely correct. Overrun or underrun happens when jitter is so bad that the buffers run out, and causes an audible glitch.
Reset happens when the sample rate suddenly changes, either due to extreme system lag, extreme jitter or a change in clock rate (possible for example when using a sound card with a digital input, using the input as the clock source).
Ideally, all three of these should read 0 forever, but it’s okay to have an under/overrun or three right in the beginning, as long as it settles down.

Keymaster
Thanks, Leaf! In repeater, would I just mimic the input (breakaway) and output (audigy)? Make sure theres no audio playing..
Hey, I don’t grow on trees, buddy 🙂 Actually my name is pronounced leyf (same vowel as in hey ). I would run audio repeater with as close settings to bae as possible, including audio playing.//Leif

KeymasterThank you for the bug report. That’s a serious problem. I’ll take a look.

KeymasterI’ve added the feature:
I don’t know when the next release is, but when it is, the feature will be there 🙂.

KeymasterGood idea! Sure.
Until I do, you can use the free AudioResampler to see the jitter values and find the optimum buffer size, as it shares the audio i/o code with Breakaway.

Keymaster
Can you please give me more details about this…If BBP ASIO is in "phase linear" mode, why wouldn’t it be ideal sound quality with a 15 or 25us pre-emphasis ? Isn’t it like BBP for webcasting with this settings ?
Actually you’re right. I forgot about this mode 🙂.

KeymasterI would imagine not, as the Juli@ does okay without mods, is easy to source, and cheaper than the ap192.
Nothing beats the trace alpha though.

KeymasterYes 🙂. Scopes are great. It takes a lot of guesswork out of it, and you can buy one second hand for less than BBP. Everyone should have one 🙂.
///Leif
Leif
KeymasterYou’ll have to check that with a scope.. Anything else would be just guessing. You could use the BBP calibration tool as well, check the tutorial in the documentation on the site.

KeymasterIn my limited experience, bbp sounds best when you skip the mic processor altogether, using just a preamp.

KeymasterUsing a higher voltage capacitor is completely safe and does not affect performance. Using a lower one could cause spontaneous combustion. You’re good. 🙂

KeymasterI didn’t mean a fresh install of breakaway, I meant Windows. With the kind of driver issues you’re having, I suspect your current install is corrupted in some way.

KeymasterHi Stavros,
I’m sorry to say it is not possible to upgrade from bbp to bbp asio. The two are different products and do not share keys. The new upgrade keys will be for multi-core upgrades and for products specifically designed for upgradability such as Breakaway HT.
We can give you a 30% loyalty discount on bbp asio though, and you get to keep both products, so you can for example use bbp for your stream.
Best,
//Leif -
