If I was him, I had the decency to talk with us costumers to explain the software is abandoned forever or just keep telling crap at the NAB or IBC.

this is sad is all i have to say. I am glad I didnt recommend this product in my video series as i would have felt to blame if someone dropped this kind of money for what is essentially abandonware now.
be very careful, if you read through this forum you will see us talking about the lack of updates regarding the software and pretty much the creators abandonment of it. I would HIGHLY advise you stay away from these products as you will receive no actual support with them in the event something goes wrong.
i agree, this guy needs to give a statement on the future of this product. i am very glad this happened to me now since I am developing a new video series and audio routing is a key part of it. I am pissed i just dropped $175 CAN on this but mistakes were made.
I am disappointed in what has happened here but no use in crying over it. At least now anyone who searches for BreakAway live will see this post and know not to purchase it.
well that is sincerely unfortunate. For so much money i was hoping to get some support for the product.
any reason why not? Do you not want to support the product anymore? It is being abandoned? is it now considered abandonedware?
I have also had this exact same problem. I am not running in ASIO mode I am using normal KS setup and I have been getting constant freezes for the last month. In the course of a 6 hour live stream it is not a surprise at all if I have 7 or 8 lock ups on BAL. I am been scouring the net trying to see if anyone has had similar issues to avoid posting here and looking like a whiny complainer but unfortunately I found nothing.
It is ultra annoying and worst part of all I got into the windows event manager and there is not log of an error. So I have no idea what to do.

[/quote]I used VAC before I found BAL, and to be honest I really do not want to downgrade back to VAC. BAL is so well put together and love using it.
