    Thanks Jesse! Much appreciated.  😀

Thanks for the help Milky. I just downloaded the BreakawayOne trial as well as the new Breakaway Pipeline on the downloads page. When installing the new Breakaway Pipeline, it found and removed the old pipeline from Breakaway Broadcast. If I choose to uninstall the BreakawayOne trial, will I still be able to use the new Breakaway Pipeline without hearing a trial jingle with Breakaway Broadcast?

    Nice work Leif!

If I want to install a demo of Breakaway One on a computer that already has Breakaway Broadcast on it, will both of them still work? Reason I ask is I want to test Breakaway One before converting my existing Breakaway Broadcast license over to a Breakaway One license.

    Thanks.

Yeah, it sure would be a welcome sight to see Leif make an appearance on here and say either "I'm continuing development with Breakaway" or "I will no longer be further developing Breakaway".

If he will no longer be working on the Breakaway products, then maybe he could put a disclaimer on the Breakaway store page saying that the product is abandonware. It seems like the helpful thing to do so that those who are new to the Breakaway software are aware.

Don't get me wrong, Breakaway is an excellent product and is money well spent. It'd just be nice to know if development is still ongoing, especially with Windows 10 on the horizon. I think that's why some are so eager, because of knowing how awesome the future releases would be.

So if Leif is now working for Omnia, he probably wouldn't want to make an updated version of the Breakaway software because that would be in direct competition with Omnia. Right?

    -Edit-

Actually, I just realized Hans van Zutphen works for Omnia now too, and he's stated in their forums that he will continue development on Stereo Tool.

So it seems like if Hans can continue development with Stereo Tool that Leif *should* be allowed to still develop Breakaway, unless there is something in his contract that says otherwise.

Thanks for the info mpegfailsafe. Alot of good points made. Now I'm thinking maybe an internet radio station is a better option. Any suggestions on how to entice sponsors? Thanks.

I was thinking Terrestrial. It sounds like getting the station off the ground, like doing the paperwork, plans, and getting the equipment ready, would cost quite a bit of money. Where do people usually get the money to do this? Or is it more of an investment that you hope pays off in the end? And when/how do you entice sponsors? Thanks.

Hi Jesse, thanks for the reply! Yes the phrase after "a few days" seems misleading at first when the minidump file shows a system uptime of 33 days. The reason why the system went 33 days without bluescreening is because every couple of days, I have been closing and re-opening SAM and Breakaway. If I don't do the routine of closing and re-opening every two days like clockwork (like if I wait 2.5 days), the system bluescreens – which in this case happened on the 33rd day.

I haven't had a chance to switch from Kernel Streaming Output (which I am currently using) to another output driver, but if I ever want to continuously keep both of them running I'll give your suggestions a try.

Hello, I’m trying to follow the tutorial in the original post. But I’m unable to download Edcast or the LAME encoder from the below links.

    quote :

Download the version for Winamp, from here: http://users.tpg.com.au/radiorio/

Then, download the LAME encoder DLL: http://stashbox.org/810352/lame_enc.dll … eaming.zip

Hey JesseG. In SAM, when I leave the "Breakaway Broadcast – LiveLink 1" box unticked, I can hear processed sound coming out of my host computer’s speakers, but my broadcast stream through Shoutcast is unprocessed – when you tune into the stream, you can tell that it is not being processed by Breakaway. However, when I tick the "Breakaway Broadcast – LiveLink 1" box, no sound comes out of my host computer’s speakers, but my broadcast stream through Shoutcast now becomes processed by Breakaway. I’m wondering if there is a way to stream processed audio through Shoutcast and still be able to hear sound coming out of my host computer’s speakers.

    Thanks for the help.
