I’m using the 2B Protection preset, without any gain reduction happening at the AGC or multiband modules. All the enhancements are off including phase delay and bassEFX.
I’ve tried the Reference preset (and raised multiband threshold to max. so only the clipper has effect) and the results are the same – the transient still has this pre-ringing reverse smearing happening, as soon as there is some lighter FM clipper action.

I’ve to troubleshoot using different drivers than ASIO, different buffer sizes, and sample rates and it makes no difference.

Since i'm not doing FM, I'd like to use the clipper for a more agressive sound such as mastering a track, but bypassing the pre-emphasis, instead for having to use the smoother sound of the look-ahead limiter on the HD Core. Is it possible?
