First of all i’m using breakaway broadcast processor and it works fine for me awesome sound!!! Thank you leif!!
But my question is: which preset is most likely used for fm broadcasting? And can someone tell me the best settings in the signal menu?
i"m using mpx out that goes to the transmitter and i want to know how to set the mpx tilt level and how to set the mpx peq sliders.
I’m new with this software so can someone help me out?? ❓Greetings Bart
Groeten BartHI, in most cases the peq sliders can be left unless you have a poor frequency responce curve in your soundcard. The instructions and an absolutely brilliant tool for carrying out the tilt settings for those without sophisticated test gear is available here:
http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.ph … &Itemid=84The tilt is a very important setting to get right, and you may need to adjust the peq settings if and only if you have a very big linearity problem with your frequency curve.
As for your preset, ther is no right and wrong, its all down to taste, basically you can play with all the presets and the parameters without fear of overmodulation (once the tilt is correctly set).
All that will change is the characteristics of your sound. The settings you choose really depend upon your programming and your own judgement.
If you can tell us what kinds of music you intend to broadcast, you will get plenty of expert opinion offered, but eventually it comes down to your own taste.Hello Thanks for this information so far im gonna check out the tool and try to set the tilt correct
