Can’t comment on the music. It looks like your stereo balance is a little strong to the left. Unless it was just that track. I’ll keep looking. Why do you cut off the high-end? It looks like you’re even lower than 16khz.

ye, lowpass is at 15 or 15.5kHz.

Overall level can go up for almost 2dBs .. so you can ower Final Drive 😉

Yeah about 2dB louder in the codec. You could back off the final drive about 2dB too and get same loudness but much improved sound quality.

Also the codec could be updated. If it’s cutting off that low, then it’s probably trying to cover up for how bad it is.

For this style of sound you’re going for, you should consider trying "New York" preset too. If you want to be REALLY loud, nothing well get you as loud with as good a sound. Just *don’t* turn up the final drive on it. Only down, if you want to. 😈

You can load Winamp plugins into Breakaway, like EdCast 🙂

When you check that, there becomes another button in the main settings window that will allow you to put Winamp plugins into Breakaway that are after the processing.

Also… your sound is mono. Even tho it’s stereo codec, the sound itself is mono.

Have you ever used EdCast? You can make as many streams as you want on it.

    http://www.oddsock.org/tools/edcast/

you just click "add encoder" then double click the encoder in the list to change settings of that encoder. easy. 8)

Yes. You can use the best mp3 codec there is… Lame 3.93.1

It also does Vorbis and FLAC in an Ogg container. LC-AAC using FAAC. Also AAC in LC, HE, and PS profiles using Coding Technologies codec that is distributed with Winamp which is easily the best.

It will stream to Shoutcast or Icecast, or a compatible server like Steamcast. 🙂
