I made a video showing how to set up BreakawayOne in a typical split site FM + Streaming configuration using the built in STL (studio-transmitter link) functionality. Spent over a week on it, who knew it would be so much work to record a video!

The video shows the entire setup in condensed form (use that pause button), although some things were intentionally omitted for brevity, such as:
– installing the audio drivers (self-explanatory)
– running the BaOne installer (self-explanatory)– network configuration (out of scope)
– setting up your own VPS running a VPN (out of scope)
– setting up an icecast2 server for web streaming (out of scope)– handling RDS metadata and song titles (this could fill a video on its own — and it will, some time)
Everything else related to THIS particular setup is in this video, although it may go by quickly.
The commentary was scripted, recorded and edited after the video footage, but the actual setup was recorded live, and is all shown in order!Check it out 🙂
