using NFAudiotool/Nfremote

hello
has anybody else had any experience using NFAudioTool ??
i originally was using the built in recorders in breakaway one ,they done the job for me but don't auto start after a reboot ,so i emailed support and asked ,they pointed me to NFAudioTool , i just don't get the program , i've installed it got it running as a service ,i'm using the NF remote to administrate it ,what i cant figure out is how to get audio into it , its running on the same machine as breakaway one ,do i have to use livewire ? is there not a stream receiver ?? really all i need is to have the recorder auto start in breakaway ,this program "because i don't get it " is over complicating my situation , and i cant find any info on google ,just a read me fine in the install notes ,
any help would be appreciated
