GuestHey Leif. Do you offer any discount for upgrading from Personal to Live? I’m waiting for the Live release with the taskbar toobar to upgrade and was wondering about that. By the way, when do you anticipate this will be released into Live?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Stuart!
We will.
I’m also considering adding some pro audio features to Breakaway Live. How about 8-band true parametric eq, 1/6 octave RTA, pink noise generation (all for speaker calibration), and adjustable volume-adaptive loudness control? Sound interesting?:)

MemberHi Leif,
I’m a registered user of BA Live (and lovin’ it) and Breakaway Audio Enhancer. Would there any be any type of discount consideration for someone (like myself) who decided she wanted to purchase the full-fledged Breakaway Broadcast version? Also, what’s the difference in CPU overhead between BA Live and the full version? I average about 10% using BA Live, and SAM, with a few PALs running on a dedicated system with 3G ram. Thanks 8)April 10, 2009 at 10:38 pm #6851Leif
KeymasterHi AuBadge!
I’ll have Keith make you a good deal on BBP. Thank you for your support. 🙂
For the difference in CPU usage, just try it. BBP is freely downloadable. Don’t worry about installing and uninstalling different Breakaway products — the installers take it into account. It’s perfectly fine to:
Install Live
Install BBP
Uninstall BBP…Live will still work just fine.
It’s also perfectly fine to:
Install BAE
Install Live
Install BBP
Uninstall Live
Uninstall BBP…etc.
BAE will still work! Only, in this case you will have three pipelines instead of one, but they ain’t bothering nobody 😉.
Best,

MemberThanks for answering my follow-up before I had to ask it, Leif. 😀
I wondered if the different programs "played well with each other" (but BAE isn’t on my station system, it’s on my other system I use for everything else); now I know they do. I’ll give BBP a test-run.April 27, 2015 at 6:02 am #6853Modulator

[/quote]Very, very old topic here, but Leif was thinking of some killer features for Live. Too bad this is not going to ever happen 🙁
