    Hey,

I’m trialing breakaway and was just wondering if it was possible to have the same output on a breakaway pipeline and the soundcard line out? The only way this could be possible is to run edcast as a DSP, but I find that if I do that then on load of breakaway, edcast forgets it’s encoders and I have to add them again, so I have to run it standalone and route a pipeline to it.

    Any suggestions?

Not yet, but I may add this in the future. Here’s a question though, how come Edcast is forgetting its encoders? I’ve never seen that happen. Does anyone else have any tips?

I know someone who is is using Edcast and it keeps forgetting the Basic Metadata for the Station I.D etc….it’s very annoying….the wording is still there, but he has to physically click into the Metadata section then back out again, then it works. 😕

    Easy way….
Use EdCast Standalone and Breakaway Pipeline as Input for EdCast (output for Breakaway)

Sometimes EdCast will crash when you use VAC or Breakaway Pipeline (When Closing)
So, it can’t remember last live recording used…
If this happen .. Close EdCast, edit cfg in EdCast directory.

    edit:
i just found why EdCast crashes when Breakaway Pipeline or VAC is used (when closing)
All recording inputs must be muted, all will be good.
