But I’m a bit nervous as I can’t seem to find any documentation on how to set it up, install it, etc….no phone for tech support is another concern. So beyond downloading the software – what happens next? I have a Barix feeding into an M-Audio 192’s line in and also use the M-Audio to play the PC’s automated MP3 player at nights…will that be a problem when using Breakaway? I understand the physical connection to the Exciter as well – looks simple, but does Breakaway choose which output is the MPX? I’ve got a lot of questions – and little reference to feel comfortable.

    It’s easy:

    – All documentation: http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.ph … &Itemid=83

    And on forum.

    – Support on forum and talking with Leif (broadcast (a) claessonedwards.com)

And you don’t need buy the software for try, only download demo version and enjoy the sound of Breakaway.

I’m an user of Breakaway Broadcast Processor and I’m very very very very satisfied with the product.

Please see on forum all posts of Leif, he helps to all people!

    Best regards!

Good news…..but looks like some calibration is needed, in addition to setting up the software, etc….has anyone used this with an M-Audio 192? If so, how was calibration, set-up? Will using this software cause problems with the card’s Line-In?

    Matt,

One of the greatest benefits I see is that you can message the guy who wrote the software, who knows it inside/out and supports it so well.

    Try doing that with Adobe.

I have been battling Waves with a few problems with some of their plugins and you get passed from person to person to someonoe else who isn’t responsible for THAT plugin, and so it goes on. After 7 months I got the issue resolved .. it was just getting someone in the know to get to someone who can push you cause inside their committee of varied programmers inside or outside the organisation. Never again.

I am really getting into liking, very much, the guy who writes it runs and answers the forum.

..and I did indeed respond to Matt in e-mail already! Waiting for a response back from him.

For the record, I do prefer the forum over e-mail, since the communication can then benefit everyone. 🙂
