Hello Leif and fellow forumers,
A most annoying issue, and the only one I found no solution to is that once you shut down/restart/log-off windows, BAE is forcefully closed, meaning that it does not change the default sound device back, in those 3-4-whatever seconds before the system shuts down. This means that the default sound device is still Pipeline, but with no effect, resulting in a few seconds with no sounds whatsoever (apart from programs that use separate devices, eg: my Winamp, which is set to DirectSound). Thus I can’t hear my windows log on/ log off sounds anymore when I shut down, nor when I log on because the system remained set with Pipeline and the start up sound plays instantly, not after 5-10 seconds (time load for breakaway).
Using hard bypass or shutting BAE down before closing the computer is the only way to go around this.
Please solve this somehow! Or suggest something that may have passed me by. Maybe BAE could fast apply the switch back to default sound device, as it does when you manually shut it down (provided you use Manage in Settings).
Thank you!
