Hello. Is it possible to set up a point to point IP STL using BAOne both ends natively without using Livewire or needing a Shoutcast/Icecast server in the middle? Would prefer to use lossless FLAC, or possibly Opus.
You would need to use an HTTP server, such as Icecast which I recommend, and having that on the studio end. Of course it's fine, and really should be on the same OS/Box that the studio's BaOne is running on. Then have the BaOne at the transmitter/s pull from the icecast using the built-in stream receiver.
Appreciate the reply Jesse. We've tried that approach, and I was hoping to simplify things by having a BAone 'point to point' solution without also requiring a Icecast server on the pc to stream to just one client. i.e. The Opticodecs have a mode that would serve one stream direct to one player. Perhaps in a future update 🙂

[/quote]Try the new version (3.19.06) it has an internal streaming server and a pass-through core license rule change which could be useful for you:
