    I am using Airomate purely for RDS. Stereo comes from BBP.

    My problem is that quite often the stereo image seems stupidly wide. Its almost as if the 38khz audio is louder than the 0-15khz audio. If I switch the receiver to mono it sounds fine. This only happens with stereo material. When monitoring the audio before the transmitter it sounds fine. Any ideas?

    MPX PEQ Gain = 2.72dB
    No other gains used

    And the others parameters of MPX PEQ?

    Please try at 0db gain and check if the sound is OK.

    I will try this when it’s exhibiting the problem again. It’s a bit hit and miss.
    Other MPX PEQ not in use. Audio is being fed by low bitrate aac though – I’m thinking the mid/side of the aac stream is being exaggerated by the processing. The only thing I could think of was to reduce the mid/side using something like the MSED plugin. I will try your suggestion first though.

    Is there any composite limiter inside the transmitter???
