We are using Station Playlist with the inbuilt Station Playlist encoder, sending an MP3 stream to our streaming provider. How do I install Breakaway One? Can I insert Breakaway before the current encoder somehow, or do I send the audio to breakaway and use your encoder (if so how do I set up the mp3 specs)? As the stream is being picked up and broadcast on FM too, as well as serving listeners to the stream, I obviously want to do the change without too much in the way of interruption too.
Unfortunately, the only way that this would work is if BAOne was available as a DSP, which it isn't. You'd have to use an external encoder like BUTT or Altacast and use virtual audio cables (breakaway pipelines) in between. I don't think Leif is interested in creating a DSP version, at least he hasn't been in the past.
It'll work fine with the included Breakaway Pipeline virtual audio cables, assuming the encoder can use audio from a specific soundcard. 🙂
